Here are the dogs in their new jackets.

Jeremy's mom and sister came into town yesterday and Jeremy made them grilled stuffed burritos when they got here. I had nachos:)

Then we watch V for Vendetta, which we got for Christmas from Mona. It was really good but Jeremy's mom didn't like it. Mona did though. Then we made a run to Starbucks for a late night drink and came back and watched Ice Age 2. man, that squirrel cracks me up. It is hysterical! They spent the night and Jeremy cooked them breakfast in the morning and then we headed to Old Navy. EVERYTHING in the store is on sale, including little doggie outfits. They were normally 24.50 and they were on sale for 6 bucks. Totally cute. And they had them in Maybe's size. So, we got matching outfits for the dogs. it is really cute.

Then we went over to Victoria Secret which also seems to have everything in the store on sale. I got two bras that were on sale for $20 each. One was a B and the other was a C. And they fit the exact same. Now, I've never been a C kind of gal so I'm convinced the label was wrong or they just want to make B girls feel special.

Then, we went to lunch and had a very crappy waitress. The food was ok though.

Then we came home and waited for Halley Berry to arrive. Yesterday Jeremy got a phone call from a friend from Transy who is now living in Virginia. Apparently her sister is living in Lexington but was out of town for the holidays and the friend she got to watch her dog went crazy and freaked out and basically told the sister she couldn't handle the dog after having it for a few hours. So, they had to go into search mode to find someone to take the dog and somehow we made it on the list. The girl was a big bitch about it. She wouldn't even drive it out here to us from Richmond, KY so Sarah had to ask another friend to do the favor of going and getting it for us. The friend couldn't keep it because her boyfriend is really allergic to dogs. Anyway, the dog is really cute and is sweet as can be and she's been playing really hard with Maybe. I think that Perhaps is jealous.

So, tomorrow, I am going to sleep really late and be relaxed. Maybe straighten up the house a little. I still need to clean up the kitchen floor sometime before i go back to school. I'll post pictures of the dogs in their little outfits later.

Yesterday we went to dinner and a movie with Chris and Lissa. The movie we saw could only be appreciated if you were born with a penis, so Lissa and I just shrugged our shoulders when we got out of there. Give me a romance anytime I guess. Especially if Patrick's butt is in it.

I spent all day in bed watching TV and cuddling with turtle. Then we Jeremy got home we went to Circuit City to spend his gift card from my mom and to Babies R Us to return the baby's present that didn't work.

and now we are at home. I'm going to try to pull Jeremy away from the computer long enough for us to watch one of the new DVD's that we got for Christmas but I think that it may be a difficult challenge.

Virginia Fields, Rebecca Bartlett and Christy Shaw on Christmas 2006. My favorite women.

Sunday, December 24, 2006

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I hope everyone is doing well.
  • Virginia and I cheated and opened our presents a little early. I think we both did very well this year buying for each other. I'm sure Virginia will list the present breakdown later.
  • She managed to surprise me on a couple counts, but I think I suprised her more.
  • Virginia bought Perhaps an adorable sweater that fits her perfectly.
  • We watched the Holiday at the movies today (Virginia's pick). It was quite enjoyable and entertaining.
  • We inadvertantly will not be buying body wash anytime soon.
  • We're watching A Christmas Story on TBS right now. There are many subtle, funny nuances in this movie that I haven't noticed before.
  • Go Irish! Beat Tigers!
  • Old school Nintendo rules!
  • Playing Nintendo on your pc using a game emulator is even better.
  • Is it me or does holiday traffic seem even crazier this year. Maybe it's been bad luck on my part, but I've seen some serious craziness these past few days.
  • Go Cardinals (begrudgingly... well, it's not too bad to say since we beat them in basketball ) Beat Wake Forest.
  • Christmas lights that go bad (even though you checked them) after you put them on your tree and cover them with tinsel and ornaments really suck.
  • Dogs are the most cudley in the first few hours after a thorough bath, once they're dry of course.
  • Washing pillows can be quite treachorous. Do so at your own risk.
  • The only thing more entertaining than seeing the Holiday on Christmas Eve is going to Meijer at 6:35 pm when it closes at 7 pm and watching the melee. I could have set up a lawn chair and popped some popcorn.
  • Virginia's cleaning spree has been most impressive. I'm very proud of her.
  • Her 4.0 is even more impressive!!!
  • Go Big Blue! Beat the Tigers!
  • I've been in my new job a little over three months now. Number of times I've come home and been all stressed out: ZERO!!!!!
  • Needless to say I love my new job. Things have worked out quite well in my favor, though it took a few years steadfast patience with putting up with endless crap.
  • I believe this year was a very pivotal year career-wise with far -reaching ramifications.
  • I feel like I accomplished a lot this year.
  • I love Virginia.

modified post from an email I sent to someone

I'm not taking it too easy.... I've been cleaning the house room by room, one a day. I only have the kitchen and another guest bedroom to take care of. I've been playing sudoku and old school nitendo. It's funny because I've been thinking that yesterday was Christmas Eve all day and I was excited about staying up until midnight to open presents. Then Jeremy tells me otherwise around 3ish that I was wrong on the day and it made me all sad. sniff sniff.

Today, Jeremy and I are cleaning the rest of the house together and then going to see a movie. If you guys are free, you're more than welcome to join us. I think we are seeing the Holiday in Hamburg at 3 something. Most likely, you'll be with family I'm sure.

Christmas we are heading to my parents in Louisville and then Tuesday we are going to Ashland to see Jeremy's family. It will be strange dynamics there. One year ago was the last time that we saw Jeremy's sister alive and Zoie (our niece) is finally getting taken by her father to go live with him in Louisanna after she's been living with my motherinlaw for the 7 years. It may be the last time that we ever see her either.

Talk to you soon! and have a wonderful Christmas! I hope you get everything that you want!

Thursday, December 21, 2006

Yesterday was my "clean bookshelf in living room and scrub the bathtub day". It was Jeremy's scrub the bathroom floor day. I also did a load of dishes and three loads of laundry. I folded the laundry this morning. Today, I'm going to tackle a closet or two. we have five of them, so maybe I can get to all of them.

Tuesday, December 19, 2006

Unlike most people, I don't bother with my house plants when it's warm and you can do the dirty work outside. I take care of my plants in December. Everyone of them has new dirt and has been pruned and I only had to clean dirt off the floor 4 times. It helps me to remember my mother-in-law and all the wonderful things she taught me about plants and life. I really miss her this time of year.
Then I decided to play the rest of the day before the RCIA meeting and went to the zoo. The weather was perfect with a coat on. It was really wonderful. The sun was out and the animals were frisky and it wasn't crowded at all. I still ran into someone I knew by the wallabies. The baby whose picture I posted awhile ago is out of the pouch now. It's still cute. It seemed like they were posing for pictures. I love my digital camera. You can take bunches of pictures and not worry about film and developing costs. Thanks to Virginia for letting me borrow her camera when we went to Hawaii even though it made me buy one of my own. It's almost paid for itself in saved costs.
Last night at the sister-in-laws dinner, Father Joe was eating at the same restaurant and stopped by. It felt strange to talk to a priest outside of a church setting. Usually they just say "Hi" when you see them somewhere besides church, but Father Joe had a whole little conversation going.
Sunday at the Jolley family party the kids got to run outside in the back yard and I got some of Mims' cake. I brought home presents for Virginia and Jeremy from their aunts and uncles and her sister Christy. (Christy says you're getting something else, too)
At St. Rita's school's fundraiser breakfast, I bought chances on a Christmas basket and I WON.
That's most of the good news I know. Later gators.

I have a very productive morning. I got up and cleaned for an hour straight. I guess it would have been even more productive if I cleaned for 5 hours straight but oh well. It's better than nothing. I figure I will take a room of the house a day. Today was the backyard, even though that may not count as a room.
Well, I guess not much is going on. Jeremy and I are still up. He got a new video card for his birthday and has been pulling out some of his old computer games to play. I was watching him for a bit when I fell asleep on the bed in the computer room. Then, when I woke up, he was taking a nap on the couch. It sucks that Jermey has to work tomorrow. I want him to be off the entire time that I'm off but that's not going to happen.

I'm done for the semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday, December 14, 2006

Happy

Birthday

Jeremy

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday, December 11, 2006

Sadly, our heater broke this weekend and it cost $150 to get a part to fix it. But now it is all fixed.

I had two finals today and I think they went pretty well. I'm very tired now though. Four more days and then I'll be done with the semester, so that's exciting. I'm going into all my finals with at least a 94% in all my classes, so that's good. I should get all A's again this semester, no problem.

Wednesday, December 06, 2006

I'm sleepy. I got alot done today. I'm going to miss Jeremy tomorrow. 3 more classes and then I am done completely for the rest of the semester. I told a teacher he was unprofessional and disrespectful today. My legs itch. I drank 3 (3!) liters of water today. I've also peed 8 times in the past 2 hours.

laters!

Sunday, December 03, 2006

Well, I didn't get all the things that I wanted to get done, but I got a good junk. I'm sure it will all fall into place.

So, I gave Jeremy the task of making the tree topper this year and can I just say I am very, very impressed. It looks great. I don't know how we will "top" it next year. hehe.

Tomorrow I have a class at 8, then 11 and then a checkoff station thing at 3 which will only take 15 minutes. So, I'm going to spend the rest of that time trying to finish up studying neuro. I really need to finish that because I need to start on old Endocrine tomorrow night.

I dislike smoking so much. I used to not mind it, but now I feel like whenever I'm around it, it's sucking the life out of me. It's so gross. I couldn't imagine living with or dating a smoker, which Jeremy has done before. He thinks it's gross now, but I wonder if he just thinks that because I think that.

It's funny when you're married it's hard to remember who had the original thought first. The husband or the wife? Jeremy told me that he never really cared about being doing illegal things on the road or being jerks until he married me. And I never cared about amusement parks until I married him. Alas, I will never be converted to watching the history channel for "fun" nor will he ever feel the urge to write an update unless I bug the crap out of him... but we've still rubbed off on each other.

earlier this afternoon, I went into the back bedroom and Zippy, Turtle and Maybe were all laying on the bed together. Zippy started cleaning Turtle and Turtle started cleaning him back. It was really cute.

I forgot to write about some more weird dreams I had.

A few nights ago, I dream that my biology of aging professor (who sort of creeps me out) was my swim coach and we were at Mary T and I was wearing a speedo swimming laps.

Then, the night before last, I dream that the new neighbors that moved in next door were murderers. They burned their backyard to the ground and it was all blackened and stuff. I was in our backyard and I found all these fingers that were cut off. And I looked over into their backyard and saw this really blond hair that looked like a wig but I knew it was someone's scalp. And in the corner of their yard back by the fence there was a well (like the one in the ring) and I went over to look in it to see if there were anymore dead bodies in it and when I was over there the neighbor came out and casually tosses the hair into the well and asked if there was a problem. I said no and ran back to the house to call the cops. But, before I left, I saw that all around the edge of the well were cut off penises! Well, they could have been really swollen fingers, but I didn't go back in look in my dream. I ran inside and there were alot of people and I yelled for someone to call the cops while I tried to clean up the house because it was really messy and I didn't want the cops to have to come to a messy house.

Now, that's a freaky dream.
I took a nap until Jeremy got home from Cincinatti (is that spelled right?) and then I woke up and started studying. 7 hours later I look up at it's past midnight. That's the most productive I've ever been on a Friday night. In fact, that's the most productive I've ever been at home before. I was very impressed. I wrote up my studying schedule for the next week which I am well aware that that is the most type A thing any one person could do. regardless, I have everything planned out. today is all of old neuro, which is a CRAP load of material. Hopefully, I can get through it all.

The animals have been really bad the past few days. I don't know what has gotten into them. They are all on my "you're going to leave outside in a van down by the river if you do one more thing" list.

I'm going to go brush my teeth and then go start studying.

Tuesday, November 28, 2006

So, I think I'm out of my funk. I was in the most horrible mood from Friday afternoon until last night. It was horrible. I have to study for a quiz that I have tomorrow. Mona was able to extend the deadline by another two weeks so I can take care of the dress after finals. I sat down today and wrote out all the things that I needed to do before the end of the semester and it was only a page long. And I've already checked one thing off my list.

Jeremy put up the Christmas tree Sunday. It looks really good. I helped my vacuuming the tree and getting off all the ice thingys so Zippy wouldn't eat them and throw up all over the house like he did last year. Yeah, I came home to take a nap today and woke to find that I was sleeping next to a pile of Zippy vomit. So, maybe I didn't do such a hot job.

we have presents wrapped under the tree already. so that's exciting.

Fields and Friends

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful that I actually felt like eating today. And I'm thankful for the wonderful feast Rebecca and Greg fixed. Monday and Tuesday I could hardly talk and couldn't swallow. Yesterday I could swallow but didn't want to because I was afraid things would get bad again. Today I woke up happy that I was going to Rebecca's and that Christy's family would be there. Jacob and Micheal and AJ all gave me hugs. Hope I'm not still contagious. Rebecca told me not to worry about it. That I'd been taking an antibotic long enough. I feel weak but then I've basically been in bed for the last three days so I guess I need to build my strength back up. I made it home in time for aspirin. I keep having a fever. Poor me. And poor Virginia for missing her daddy's candied yams. But he promised to make some for her Christmas.
Happy Dead Turkey Day!!!!
Or in the case of the Fields' houseold, Happy Dead Duck Day!

Love you guys!

what does a girl have to do around here to study?!?!?!

lalalala.

Geralyn and her boyfriend came into town and stayed here last night. I haven't seen her for YEARS. but she still looked the same. She is applying to pharmacy school at UK and when she gets out of her tech test and when I get done with the health fair, we're all going to lunch and then I'm going to show her a tour of campus.

we made sugar free pumpkin bar cookies. and they were really gross when we first got them out of the oven. but then, when they cooled off, they tasted like pumpkin pie.

Thursday, November 16, 2006

For those of you I have not already talked to, I only have two things on my Christmas list:

-laundry detergent
-pickles

bread and butter are ok, but I'm not a fan of the sweet.

If you want anything, let me know.

Monday, November 13, 2006

two more tests down. I have to do my makeup for Neuro tomorrow and I'm going to take a shower in a bit and go to bed and get up at 3 to study for it. I don't really have to do much studying, just get it all fresh in my mind again.

this morninng, Turtle was playing with her little soccer ball. It was really cute.

I have a cough. I wish it would go away. I also have a sore and crusty nose.

Saturday, November 11, 2006

well, two tests down. it should be three but I got really sick on Thursday and had to email the prof and tell him I wasn't coming. I've never been so sick in my entire life. It was horrible. And last night I got really sick again at like 1 in the morning but by 3 I felt alot better so I got up and started studying. I have literally not slept more than 6 hours in the past three days. so, I'm sure I will be crashing and burning any second now.

Fields and Friends

Elections are over for good or bad. Thanksgiving's just coming up and I'm ready for spring already. My mother is dead but still causing trouble. It wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't think it was hurting my girls. I'll be glad when all the mess with the will is over and I don't ever have to deal with it again. I have to keep telling myself it's was her problem and not let it become mine. She thought if you cared for someone besides her, you didn't care for her so tried to cause trouble between people. She was a unhappy, lonely person and I could never make her believe I loved her in spite of it all.

Sunday, November 05, 2006

I've been really weird about updating. I've been sort of frustrated with some things.

I had a dream that Lissa and I got in a big fight and it ended with me kicking her out of the house (apparently, in my dream, we had alot more money because our house was bigger and alot nicer) and throwing Chris' coat on the ground and locking the door behind her. She yelled back at me that I didn't need to bother because she wasn't ever coming back. But then, she started stalking me and trying to make up and in my dream I kept on trying to run away from her. so that's weird. But I also had a dream the other night that I had an affair with that black guy from CSI but the entire time I was having it, I was trying to find Jeremy because I really wanted to be with him. And I also dream that Becca called me and told me that Grandma's estate finally got settled.

And apparently, one of the above things did happen.

My grandmother was an evil woman, I have no doubt in my mind. I know the family will disagree, but it's true. And I will be just as evil when I take her money and go running to the bank to cash the check so Jeremy can get a new car.

I have blocks next weekend. I got through everything that I needed to study, but I still don't feel like I've learned it enough. Going in on eyeball and out the other.

The past

We all have people in our pasts that we will never forget. Part of you is always curious about how that person is doing in life and happiness. But we have to keep moving on and living day by day. The problem is when a person you have learned to live without makes random appearances in your day to day life and completely takes you off guard. I am happy. I have a wonderful marriage, a beautiful house, a loving family, terrific friends. I don't have anything missing. But whenever this person makes an appearance, I forget those things and begin to wonder what I did wrong. I can't blame the person because they go more than out of their way not to communicate with me directly but they find ways to find out what's going on with me but eliminate everyway I can find anything about them. I don't regret what happened in the past. I wish whatever happened hadn't happened the way it did, but where would I be now? Married to someone that apparently hates me... already divorced? I wouldn't trade the me that I have now for anything. I would love to get back the true friends I lost in the past. But, are true friends ever really lost?

For anyone's that interested I have been randomly posted to my site which is mrjoll01.livejournal.com. Don't be afraid to comment.

The day is here

To all who read this blog, I'm posting this to ask you to keep my brother, Dustin, 19, in your thoughts, prayers, or whatever your custom may be. Today is the day he gets on the plane and gets deployed to Iraq, to serve as a combat medic in the army. Today is the day the uncertainty begins about his well-being, his whereabouts, his state of mind. I don't even know what city he's being deployed to at this point. There are no guarantees on when he gets to come home, how often he gets to write or e-mail, how often he can call. There are no guarantees about anything at this point. Today is the day I knew was coming but was hoping wouldn't.

Ten minutes ago I got a call on my cell phone from a number I didn't recognize, and being in the library, I just let it vibrate, figuring they would leave a message and I would call them back in a few minutes. Never crossed my mind that it could be Dustin, I was too wrapped up in studying for this stupid test, this stupid, insignificant in the grand scheme of things, test. Of course, it was Dustin, leaving me a message telling me he was getting on the plane and that he guessed he would see me in a year and a half or so. He sounded scared. He sounded scared, and I wasn't there for him. Of course, as soon as I got the message I raced downstairs and called the number back (which happened to be his cell phone), but it was too late, he had already turned it off. And now I can't help but think I may have just missed the last opportunity to speak with my little brother, and frankly, I'm a little upset about it.

But that's awfully selfish of me. My unrest will pass in a few minutes. His will linger for weeks, maybe more. I wrote him an e-mail yesterday. I can't wait until he replies. I'll keep you posted.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! :)

stream of conscious

so.... yep. You sit and think and wonder if there is something going on that you missed, maybe somewhere down the line where you weren't included. the pieces don't fit together, the things that weren't changed and you wonder if it were lies. was it just a game of give and take so there would be a balance? and if you questioned, there would just be more lies on top

and here you sit and are torn and confused and tormented for the things you say and know you shouldn't have said because you have become the one thing you despise. but there is no point in explaining because the people that matter most already know and the people who don't would never listen anyway. so, you wonder if you are mistaken and if that disapproving look was just another look or if it meant something. but if it were a disapproving look, should there be offense taken for i have disapproved often and never commented ever though comments would have been justified. it would be better to be called out for anything that could be thought of i have already thought about and have been tormented for not being what i require of everyone else to be. so, you sit and think and wonder if there was something that you missed, why the pieces of the puzzles don't fit together or maybe the pieces don't even belong to the game. when something is not right, you hope that it doesn't extend to your sphere of the world, but it is silly to think that

I think that Jeremy is going to write an update about the trip, so I just leave you will be had a really good time and it really wasn't all that cold.

I've only got one test grade back. There's a girl in our class that's been in the hospital for like three weeks and they are holding our tests hostage until they figure out what they are going to do with her. It's been really frustrating, but what can you do?

the test grade I got was a 98% which I wasn't really expected. I thought it would have gotten lower, but Dr. Fink must have taken some of my answers.

I have a test next week for my elective that I'm not really for. And then the week after that, it's blocks again. Where does the time go? it's craziness.

Jermey is curretnly out at the bookstore using a gift card that he got and getting his sister Mona a card for her birthday. and then he will be swinging by CVS to get me a much needed pair of tweezers.

I love those littel packets of gum you can get at Mexican resturants. They are awesome!

OH WOW

Umm...ok...now that girl's a wee bit nutty. She seriously gives me the heeby jeebies and what is even creepier is that I went to her blog and her picture at the bottom looks normal but she's obviously not uhh not all there if u know what i'm sayin. Whats funny is though is that people have so much time to think about what they're going to say when they write responses online, especially when its something like this, like a blog. It seemed like she sat and thought so long about what to say so she didn't look stupid (like she KNEW it was you on her blog, and she planted those posts, and that she used her site counter to figure it out lol etc.) that part of you can't help but laugh. I think you really got to her, whenever you write someone a letter thats a paragraph and you get two pages in response you've pushed more than a few buttons (....and in this case she was making up some serious shit too lol). The real test will be to see if you get your spanish book in the mail, if not I say keep on her for it! It's the principle damnit!!!!!

P.S.-What does she mean its just you and your animals- i mean i know you and jeremy are newlyweds but really hes not that much of an animal. :)
Guess what showed up on my doorstep yesterday?

A Chris!!!

Which was quickly followed by a Twinkie and a Lissa!

It was a really great surprise.

I miss seeing a Chris more often.

We're going to CEDAR POINT!!!!!

Tuesday, October 17, 2006

ok, here's the good stuff....

ah, the joy, the joy... I figured you folks would get a kick out of this. I was sorta holding out hope that maybe she would actually bring my book like she said she would and when she didn't, I got irritated all over again and I was in a sleep deprived not thinking state. so I made another dig at her in a facebook message.

10.16.06 2:35pm
just in case you forgot, I want my book back still.

And she replied...
Oh my god.
And she also wrote that she thought in her little minifeed that I was crazy.

So, I was like "oh no she didn't" with the hair flip, butt sticking out and finger wag. I sent her this. I asked Jeremy to read it before I did and ask if it was too immature and he said it was fine. Which is funny, because it's completely and totally immature and 5 year oldish. I told him if it were my mom reading it, she would talk some sense into me.

my dear, you are the crazy one. Also, you seem to be a pathological liar and I have learned not to trust you with a 10 foot pool. Can I give you some advice and tell you not to update your zanga site from work? Espeically when you work with people that don't like you like Missy? She was more than happy to pull it up one day to show some post you wrote about her. And let me just say, iit has been amazing the difference between the things you tell me and what you write about on your blog. Referring to my book, I've been just waiting for you to break and tell me that you sold it, which I'm sure you have or something else equally dishonest. I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt and that maybe you really did forget, but when I saw you could lie about your own grandmother's death... that threw out any bit of respect I could have for you.

And another thing, I've talked to Rebekah about the whole CVS thing and I know Kristin and newsflash.... you lied about that too. They should have called the cops on you. I'm strongly thinking about recommending to the pharmacy admissions committee that they call up some of your old employers and do a few background checks on you. I think you would be a shame to the profession of pharmacy.

So, a few things. I'm the one that actually found the website on the cornerstore computer like 2 years ago. Missy didn't even know about it. I talked to Jeremy about putting what I did put cuz I just felt weird about finding her site. Even though I really had no reason to be embarassed for it. At the time I found it in the computer history, it was like "oh cool, she has a site" but I didn't remember it or anything. Anyways, I shouldn't have put that because it didn't accomplish anything and really had no point.

The whole CVS thing... while she was working at Gericare, she got a job at CVS, where my friend Rebekah from school works. We all three made the connection that we worked with each other and laughs were had all around. Anyway, Lindsey gets fired from CVS and stops showing up for work at Gericare at the same time. Come to find out, Lindsey would go into her work before her shift, buy a bunch of things and write a check for them. THEN, later on in her shift, she would take the check out of the cash register and throw it away. The first time it happened, someone found it and just thought it was an accident and just put in back in the register. The 2nd time it happened, they figured out was going on. Rebehak tells me that she goes hysterical and starts snotting and crying and is talking about how money is short and she needs to pay her rent. Needless to say, she gets fired but the cops weren't called. BUT, CVS filled out a report to corporate saying what happen and what measures were taken, yada yada. This was last Jan or something that I heard this. So, when school starts up and I see her in my class, she tells me like the third week of class about how she got accepted to work at Walgreens and when she shows up for work the first day, they tell her that she can't work because her background check came back positive. Apparently, CVS puts all their employee records into some huge corporate pool and all big corporations have access to that pool. She tells me that they accused her of stealing from a customer or something and that she's going to get a lawyer and go after CVS. That's when I run home and google her screenname that's on facebook to find her site that I know exists and see what the real story is. Alas, I didn't find anythign about that, but I did find a whole big thing about Missy that I didn't even really know what was going on. I knew that didn't like each other, but that's pretty much it. I sort of didn't know what to think about the whole CVS thing cuz it was just strange how the stories were complete opposites. Anyway, when she NEVER showed up to class, I kept going back to her site to see what was going on. So, I sent the above thing to her this morning and blocked her from my facebook account and sat anxiously at school waiting to run home to see what she would write to me. thankfully, my anxiety was not in vain

To Virginia---
First of all. You have no idea what you are talking about. The first thing is---did you ever think that maybe just maybe I did the xanga thing on purpose? I did not want to lose my job and I wanted to tell Missy how I felt without really telling her. Strike one for you. I also find it really pathetic that you feel the need to read my site to check up on me. Since you are new to the xanga world -- let me give you a little piece of advice. There is a thing called protected posting where you post things you don't want everyone in the world to see - just people you know and trust. That, and another site I have just for myself, is where I post the things that are really bothering me, such as my grandmother's death---which ironically, you would never be able to see. I find it creepy that you were reading my site to gather information on me---when really --- shock!---I don't write everything for the world to see -- just those I trust. I know for blabber mouths like you --- that is hard to fathom. Are you doing well in school this semester -- because it seems like you have been devoting a significant amount of your time to me. Weirdo.
Moving on...
Secondly, the CVS thing. If I was lying--why would I go out of my way to be the one to tell you what happened? If I was lying--why even bring it up? Hmmm? I seem remember (you know since I was there, and gasp!, you weren't) that when the incident occured R was not present and neither was K. Therefore, anything they heard must have come from the manager who hated me from the get go because I thought he was gay. Strike one for CVS---talking about former employees. In addition, they could have not called the cops on my because I did not do anything wrong and they had no proof. CVS is a company which does prosecute, which I am sure you are aware of "queen of the universe", and if they had reason to prosecute they would have. Ironically, they didn't---so what does that say? Yep that is what I thought --- they had no reason to because I did nothing wrong.
Oh and FYI about biology of aging and another FYI about xanga--I made up that whole portion about the exam on my xanga just for YOU. Xanga has a little thing called a site meter. I have seen you coming around here for a while. It took me a while to figure out it was you-- but I did. I was waiting for you to make an appearance. Unfortunately, you chose facebook to "confess" your dirty little deed. Shame on you -- but imagine...that I wasn't surprised because once I figured out it was you - I implemented a little tactic system. I guess it worked, huh? FYI once again, since we had that class together and I knew that you (I could care less about M---that's why I didn't change anything when I thought it was only her reading), anyway, when I knew that you were reading and that was had the class together - you might notice my posts have been less frequent and quite off the wall about things pertaining to work and school. That was staged for you my darling. My REAL friends know what is going on with me at all times. I guess you would know about that -- if you had any friends. I guess that is why you have no social skills - your animals are your only friends.
Moving on yet again...
The BOOK. Oh yea, the SPANISH book that is wedged in your asshole. I just moved---you can check about that if you want---I am sure it is something I MAY have posted about since moving is not a private matter. If you want my new address though, you may have to dig a little deeper (i.e. -- not my xanga site). Anyway, I know it is around here somewhere and with everything going on -- which, by the way, I have no reason to lie about---I have not had the time to find it. Why would I sell it? Or give it away? I forgot Spanish books are such a hot item on the black market. Wow if that is the case----I sure can make a fortune! In April, we talked about it and I forgot. Ooooooooooops. I didn't realize it was going to be the end of the world. And you brought it up once in class and I don't recall discussing it again -- once again, I did not realize it was a life or death situation. Talk about lying --- oh J wants to take a spanish class. Funny.
You know the difference between you and me? I say things to people and I say them to their face or on the phone if face to face is not possible. You, on the other hand, act one way to someone's face and then say things (that are wrong and ridiculous) to people over the computer. How pathetic is THAT? So you know what I really could give a fabulous fuck less if you think I would be a "disgrace to the pharmacy field" because I think you are a disgrace to humanity. You are a stuck up (with no reason to be sweetheart), know it all (oh I mean don't know shit), scared little bitch. And from what I heard at GC -- what people told me themselves, not what I heard from word of mouth - no one liked you --- because of the fact that you think you are better than everyone and NEWSFLASH -- you are not. Your book will be in the mail soon---I DO have a lot going on and will get it to you as soon as I can. So---you can sleep better at night, my dear.
Oh and one last thing---when you wrote the intial hateful message on facebook -- I wanted to tell you to shove the book in your big ass mouth. But, then you never would have gotten the chance to send the message trying to "out do" me with all of your so called insights, now would you? Turns out - you were more wrong that you could have ever possibly imagined sweetheart. So you thought you were getting the last word by sending me the message and unadding me as a friend so I could not write back. Looks like I got the last laugh, huh? Believe me I wanted to unadd you and tell you off from the first day we sat in Aging---but this was so much more worth it.
Hasta luego - do you remember that from Spanish? Awww, you'll have your book back soon enough so you can refresh your memory. Or maybe J can help you study?

A few notes of interest (because I have more vested in this and you might not notice them)
-Um, how does "I say things to people and I say them to their face or on the phone if face to face is not possible" and "I wanted to tell Missy how I felt without really telling her" work? I'm confused.
-Did I ever say that Jeremy was taking a class? I'm confused where she got that one from.
-Did she really just say that her blog is a big conspiracy and staged for me? Why would she do that? It doesn't make sense. The first time I was ever rude to her in my "hateful" message on Facebook was on Oct 10th and until then there wasn't any visible hostility between us. So why would she start making things up when she started the class with me in August? And why would she have told me off the first day of class in August? I'm confused. I hadn't been to her site since 2 years ago until I googled her screenname well into September and Missy has never been to her site at all. Again, I'm confused.
-I am a stuck up, know it all. I don't tolerate stupid, lazy people and I work my rearend off to be more intelligent than the average bear. Now, the scared little bitch comment I take offense to. Granted, I SOMEIMES can't sit through horror movies without making excuses to do laundry in the middle of the night and MAYBE I'm not in the upper weight class for my height and weight but I'm not a bitch!
-And finally, I enjoyed most of the folks at GeriCare and liked being around them. So, if they secretly hated me.. ha!... the joke's on them cuz they made me feel loved.

Sadly, I have no friends. I must cancel seeing Lissa tomorrow and going out to dinner with the girls from school on Thursday and having Don over next week to watch the 4th Harry Potter movie. Instead, I would go and find 42 cats and be one of those ladies who lives in a litter box.

Here's her website: http://wwwDOTxangaDOTcom/pharmgirl02 Add the dots as needed. Just in case you're interested.

I just wanted my book back :(
Yesterday, i had my last two tests. I got to school and had this uneasy feeling that I forgot something.

And I had... I forgot to brush my hair! It was like a flashback to kindergarden. Granted, I had been up since 2 in the morning studying, but I'm a big girl. I should have done better.

And to make matters worse, I lost my ponytail holder:)

Sunday, October 15, 2006

3 tests down and only 3 more to go. I think I did pretty well on the first three. My throat sort of hurts and I think I've been really thirsty lately, so studying all day isn't going to be too much fun.

Jeremy has been really sweet this block. he's been cooking alot more lately since he's been getting home at a decent hour and last night he made a really good meal. And yesterday morning he made me a really good breakfast. And i think he's going to make me breakfast this morning, so I'm excited.

I love him alot. he makes me smile.

I contacted my old Spanish professor and found out that they have a new edition out for my Spanish book. So, i looked on ebay and I can get the 6th edition for like 5 bucks. So, I think I'm just going to get that and put Miss Lindsey on my list of crazy people to avoid.

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

ah, the glory of drama....
So, in May of 2005, this girl that worked at GeriCare asked to borrow my Spanish book so she could use it to study for her test. I said sure since I had gotten done with my class at the end of April. In June, I asked for it back. She told me that she was taking Spanish 2 and wanted to know if she could use it for next year. I said ok.

Well, I sort of forgot about it until last April when Jeremy and I were talking about him needing to learn some Spanish for work and I thought "hey, I should get that book back." Well, the girl had gotten fired from Gericare because she never came in when she was scheduled. So I send her this little message on facebook in April:
hey Lindsey! I hope your semester went well. I was wondering if you are done with Spanish and could I maybe get my book back. Jeremy is wanted to learn some espanol for work reasons. Talk to you soon!

and she replies:
Hey ya. Just let me know your address and I can mail it to you :) How's pharm school? I miss you :)

and my reply:
pharmacy school is great... especially now that I'm done with finals. Are you not in Lexington anymore? I thought maybe we could meet for lunch or something. I wouldn't want you to have to pay to meal it. Did you get in anywhere for school? I'm super tried and just realized I typed meal instead of mail. I still haven't caught up with sleep from finals week. So, on that note, I will say goodnight and hit the sack. Hope to hear from you soon!

erased for crazy people reasons

Time passes. Then I get a note from her on June 19th, 2006

hey...I am going to mail out your book this week...I promise. BTW..what the hell is going on with Geri Care?

She was wanted to know what happened with GeriCare being sold out and everything.
And time passes.
School starts and randomly she's in my elective class for Biology of Aging, an undergraduate class. She walks into the classroom, sees me and immediately goes into this "OMG, I'm so sorry I haven't mailed your book!!" this was Aug 23rd.
Doesn't bring it to class on the 25th.
Doesn't show up for class on the 28th or 30th.
I send her a message asking if she is ok on Aug 30. She writes back:
yeahhhhhh. Andrew and I were moving on Monday and he fell off the ramp and cracked his knee cap. The dolly holding the TV fell on top of him. I've had to move the entire apt by myself and take care of him. I'll be back Friday.

So she finally comes on Friday (Sept 1st). Still doesn't bring my book and asks to borrow my notes for the days she missed.
Doesn't come to class Monday and Wednesday... I'm getting irritated cuz she has 8 pages of my notes. Get a note from her on Sept 6th:
Sorry about today. @ 3am Andrew woke up screaming. I mean his knee oh god it was so swollen you could not tell it was a knee. Took him to the ER and he had to have x rays, etc etc. Before, they thought he had cracked it. Nope, its shattered into two pieces. So much for the great Uk hospital. I just got home. Anyway, I will see you Friday and I will bring your notes to ya. Sorry I've had to miss already. Sigh. Also, still trying to find a lawyer. Know anyone?

Interestingly, she wrote that at 11, but they had just installed that new stalker feature on facebook and she had been on there since 8 in the morning messing around
She comes on Friday and gives me my notes. I make a mental note to never let her borrow anything again. Doesn't bring my book though.
Then I don't see or hear from her until I get this note from her on Sept 15th.
Mr. Lund knows what is going on but I wanted to let you know so you do not think I am a slacker. He doesn't know the whole story, just the bulk of it. Here it is:
I don't know if i have told you that my stomach hurts all day, everyday. I have to run to the bathroom and thus, I can only eat at home or near home. We have to go to the movies first because I cannot eat and go sit in a movie. I cannot do it. I'd say on a scale from 1-10, the daily pain is about a 6 or 7.
So anyway, back in Decemember I had a colonoscopy and an endoscope. The doctor said nothing was wrong and that we would try drug therapy. Problem is...he is in Louisville and it is not only hard for me to get there, but it is hard to get an appointment with him once a month. In fact it was impossible. Well, when I went in July to my followup appointment, he was like oh by the way did I tell you that to the naked eye your colon looked fine but on your biopsy the left colon came back and it was completely inflammed. Um...well NO YOU DIDN'T - you basically told me I was making the pain up! Dumbass. That would PROBABLY explain why I have had stretch marks on the left side of my body...came up out of nowwhere...and not a single stretch mark on the right side of my body. Hmmmm...
So anyway, I have not been back to him...in fact I have been looking for a new doctor in Lexington so that we can start back at square one. Well...Wed. night around 3am I woke up and the pain was so intense, I thought I was going to die. I am not kidding. My internal organs ached and felt swollen. I felt like if I moved they were going to burst! Andrew had to come over and try to help me out of bed. I couldn't do it. I moved and I felt like my whole body was going to rupture. He was like oh my GOD Lindsey look at your stomach. It was so swollen, I looked as if I was about to give birth. I am not kidding, I looked every bit of 9 months pregnant. He was like I am taking you to the hospital now! I started crying because I could not get up...much less get up and get into a car. He was like I am calling 911 and you are going to the hospital. I begged him not to. The pain was so bad, I did not want to be moved or touched. I told him it would pass and we just sat there on the bed talking the rest of the night about it.
So first thing Thursday morning, I could move but I could not fully stand up straight. It put too much pressure on my stomach. So I walked around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame and decided that a doctor was better than nothing and that there was no way I was going to get into a specialist and I did not want or have the money to pay $50 for a ER visit, so I went to the UTC. I got there and explained the situation to the doctor and he was very understanding. He told me to lie down and said he felt something hard on my left ovary. He seemed very concerned. I asked him what it could be and he said a number of things ranging from endometriosis to a tumor. He also asked if I had been out of the country. I told him I went to a resort in the Domincan Republic about 6-7 years ago. He said there is a parasite there that causes things like this and it takes about 6 years to show up. Good God.
So...he took so much blood I passed out. He said we are going to do every single test under the sun. I have an ultrasound on my belly scheduled for 2:45 today. I also am going to have a pelvic exam next week. OH and I also have to give a stool sample..lovely. I am going to have to do that today or tomorrow since they were kind enough to let me take it home.
God, what is this? Why didn't the other doctor look for things like this? Can they fix me?
I am so scared...so please pray that it is found and it is curable!

So... I don't really even know the chick that well and this was way too much information for. Anyway, I don't see her until the 25th, the class meeting before our test on the 27th. still didn't bring the book. Alas, the test date comes around and she doesn't show up! I start to figure that she's bailing on the class so I send her this the 27th:
are you ok? I didn't see you at the test.
The next time you come to class, could you bring that spanish book?

She replies back:
Ohhhhh boy. Well, I dropped the class. Tuesday I went and met with him and he is just a complete asshole. I was confused on a few things and he basically told me that if I didn't understand, I was screwed. He offered no explaination of it. He is just the worst teacher of all time so...I dropped the class. I have the Spanish book in my office somewhere ( I just moved a few weeks ago). I will find it in the next few days and bring it to you there. BTW how was the test?

Can I just say that this girl is an idiot? because earlier in her little facebook notes she wrote "OH MY GOD I AM GOING TO FAIL MY BIOLOGY OF AGING TEST. I MEANT TO GET UP AT 5AM AND START STUDYING AGAIN AND I OVERSLEPT. IT IS IN 2 HOURS. FUCK!"
Anyways... I think a few days means a few days..... and guess what? She doesn't bring the book by... so I finally got hostile and wrote on Oct 9th:
I would really like my book back. I asked for it in April and you did not mail it like you said you would and you had several chances to give it back to me during class and you didn't. I know that you are busy and stressed out and whatnot but you've had my Spanish book for almost two years and I'm getting tired of asking for it back. If you are embarassed about seeing Dr. Lund or something, I always sitting outside the classroom 30 minutes before class starts at 11.

she writes back:
Jesus Christ. It has nothing to do with Dr. Lund. I forgot to mail it. I just moved and have not had time to go through my boxes and find it. My grandmother just died and my cousin's husband killled him self. I have been a tad stressed out and I am sorry but with everything else going on it has not been number one on my to do list. You will not have to ask for it back again. I will try to find it this weekend. I did not realize it was bothering you that much...but I guess it is.

and my reply:
I am bothered by it. Crap happens all the... people get sick, they die, tests come and go. But that still doesn't justify saying you'll do something and not doing it. If that were the case, everyone who had a sucky day would never be held accountable for what they did or didn't do.
Regardless, whenever things settle down for you, I would like my book back.

and I get a "fine. Thanks for your compassion" a few minutes ago.
WHAT IN THE WORLD!!????! I want to be like "you stupid idiot... shit happens, get over it!!!! my sister-in-law was murdered and my grandmother died too and I didn't f*ing make the whole world stop for me. If you're so sick you can't even move... call an ambulance and go to the hospital!!!! just because your boyfriend is bedridden or whatnot doesn't mean you have to miss over a month's worth of classes! and because you decided to go to a bridal shower and didn't study at all for your test doesn't mean I'm going to sit there and grin and say "yeah, our teacher is an asshole isn't he for not helping you get ready for the test after you only came to THREE classes." GET OVER IT AND GIVE ME MY BOOK BACK!!!

Missy got a haircut and ribbons on her ears.

Saturday, October 07, 2006

Yesterday was the frist day of Fall break and I spent it at the library. I got there at 9 and studied straight through until 3. I didn't know how hard it was on me until I got home and took a nap at 5. Come to find out I was really tired because I didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning!

I'm going to get to studying again in a little bit. I have to do it at home because of the stupid football game and nowhere to park instead of at the library, so I am sure I will be getting plenty distracted today.

Jeremy's old boss' grandmother passed away and they called in an emergency favor yesterday when he was up in Cinci working. He's working in banquets this morning as a supervisor. It was really funny because yesterday morning he was talking about how the one thing that he missed (besides the free food) was being able to deal with the out of state football teams. And what do you know.... he gets a call from banquets saying they need him to come deal with the football team this morning. All I've got to say that Jeremy is the most expensive temp working that they'll ever have to pay...

back to studyign. have a good weekend everyone!

This is the part of the picture that was adorable. You couldn't really see it that well on the other.

Sunday, October 01, 2006

I took 91 pictures at the zoo with my digital camera but I'm only going to make you look at one. It's adorable.

here

I really think this is interesting

"To my knowledge I don't know of any black who's ever applied for membership in the Grand Lodge," he said. "Is there anything that would prevent them? No. As the grand master, if I heard of any lodge that denied a man membership because of his race, they wouldn't be a lodge for long."

what a joke... Show me one lodge that isn't segregated in the US cuz I don't think they exist.

Simpson enters not guilty plea

Gun with homemade silencer suspected as murder weapon
By KENNETH HART
The Independent

CATLETTSBURG — Authorities believe an Ashland man arrested last week for the February murder of a Flatwoods woman shot the victim with a 9 mm handgun fitted with a silencer fashioned from a plastic soft-drink bottle.

Boyd Commonwealth’s Attorney J. Stewart Schneider showed a photograph of the weapon Friday at an arraignment and bond reduction hearing for Timothy Scott Simpson.

Simpson, 23, is accused in the shooting death of 28-year-old Faith Kristen Fields Clay. Clay, who died of a gunshot wound to the head, was found Feb. 16 on a couch in Simpson’s garage apartment in the 4800 block of Boyd Street.

Police initially were not sure whether the shooting was a homicide, suicide or accident. However, investigators with the Ashland Police Department later said they suspected foul play. Simpson was ultimately revealed to be the “person of interest” police focused on following the shooting.

Simpson was arrested Sept. 21 after a Boyd County grand jury returned an indictment charging him with murder and tampering with evidence. Through his attorney, Michael Curtis of Ashland, he pleaded not guilty to the charges Friday.

Simpson’s bond was initially set at $50,000, but Circuit Judge C. David Hagerman later raised it to $250,000. Curtis requested Hagerman reinstate the original bond, saying his client wasn’t a flight risk and posed no threat to the community.

Curtis also said he and prosecutors had begun the process of discovery, or exchanging evidence, and the evidence he had received so far was “more good than bad” in favor of his client.

Also, Curtis noted gunshot residue tests performed on Simpson by police after the shooting turned out negative. However, Schneider countered that semi-automatic handguns, such as the one Simpson allegedly shot Clay with, did not ordinarily leave residue.

“We’re just about out of the GSR (gunshot residue business)” where those types of weapons are concerned, he said.

Schneider opposed Curtis’ motion to lower Simpson’s bond to its original amount. He said that in interviews with investigators, Simpson had admitted to firing the silenced pistol outside his apartment in prior to Clay’s shooting, “which is a bad idea to begin with.”

Schneider told the judge he thought a bond “somewhere in between the two figures” would be appropriate.

Hagerman said he was concerned about Simpson’s criminal record, which he said indicated a history of substance abuse and included an arrest in August for public intoxication.

“You know the saying — alcohol and firearms don’t mix,” Hagerman said.

Curtis told the judge there were no firearms in his client’s residence.

Hagerman ultimately reduced Simpson’s bond to $100,000 cash or $200,000 property.

Police have not released specific details, including a motive in the case, saying they could not do so because the seven-month-long investigation was still open.

I'm tired.

Turtle was sleeping on Jermey's nap early today and it was really cute.

I don't like people who are shady and lie. It's a horrible thing to do. I may be alot of things (rude, irrational, arrogant), but I'm not a liar. Even lying over stupid crap just completely rubs me the wrong way.

Tomorrow I think I will be well enough to work out. Jeremy and I made a commitment not to eat after 7:30 and we shook on it and everything, so hopefully we will be able to hold each other to it.

Saturday we are going to go see Joy dance which will be exciting. I should also go and help out at the health fair on Saturday, but I think I'm going to bail on it.

It's been like dragging fingernails down a chalkboard trying to motivate myself to do work tonight. It's not like I don't have a quiz on Friday and I know nothing about what's going to be on it and it's not like I don't have a 6-8 page paper due next Thursday that I haven't even started on. I was able to do somewhat of an outline tonight on it, but that's about it. I think I'm driving Jeremy crazy because I keep sitting there saying "why am I such a bum?" over and over again. and the TV is off and the ipod is off and I've finally convinced myself that the livingroom is too yelllow to study in. Because the color of the room totally can mess with your ability to think.

so now I will return to the UK spare bedroom and hope that colors will be more pleasing to my distracted mind.

Tuesday, September 26, 2006

I got my last two test grades back: a 97 for Lab and a 94 for endocrine, which I am very happy with. I have my test tomorrow for biology of aging, and I hope that goes just as well.

I have the flu (tummy and nose) and it really stinks. Well, I'm sure it would stink if I could smell.

Sunday, September 24, 2006

Time for an update, I guess

I am currently sitting on the couch, using Jeremy's laptop (which is sitting on my lap) and it is awesome. I am so glad that I hadn't gotten the money form my grandmother's estate yet because I would have used it to buy a laptop and it would have been a complete waste. But, can I tell you that I LOVE using his laptop? I only need it like less than a week out of the month, so it's perfect.

I got three of my test grades back from blocks. 93% for Neuro, 97% for Law and drumroll please...... 100% on Immunology!!!!!! Isn't that awesome? I hope I did just as well on the other two. At least A's.

I have a test on Wednesday for my elective. I don't know what to expect. I need to write out a list of questions that I have to take to the review on Monday. I hope the review isn't a waste of time.

I was suppose to do some stuff this weekend, but my car and the weather didn't agree with me. Apparently, both of my low beam headlights decided to go out on sometime last week. Earlier in the week, they were both good and then both of them went out. How strange is that? We can replace them ourselves, but it would void the warrenty on the car because the bulbs we would use wouldn't be VW brand. So, Jeremy has to drop me off early at school (at 4:30 am) so that he can get to work at 5 and get in 10 hours before he has to go to Don Jacob's before they close. Oh well. I can get alot of studying done in the morning and there won't be annoying people at the library either. Seriously, why do people go to the library to talk on their cell phones? The least they could do would be at least whisper but they don't. And you know what else bothers me at the library? There are always these little kids there or these dirty old men looking at porn on the computers on the 5th floor. gross.

Maybe it was a good thing that my plans fell through today because I was really sick this morning and wasn't able to do anything besides curl up in a ball of pain until around 3. I wouldn't have been that much fun.

I guess that's all. I have some not to happy news, but I decided to put it at the end of the post so they people who don't care enough to read until the end of my post wouldn't be bogged down from it. The man arrested for Faith's murder is being held on $250,000 bond and he is not eligable for the death penalty due to KY law. take what you will from that.

Also, in other sad news, a third year pharmacy student was killed this weekend from the flash flooding that occurred in pretty much all of Kentucky. She and a friend were washed away into the storm drain system when they were trying to walk to their house after the police made the Taxi they were riding in turn away because of the water over the road. I didn't know the girl, but I have seen her around. I was telling Jeremy how sad it would be in their class tomorrow when the two people who sat next to her had to have an empty chair next to them for the rest of the year and always be reminded of her.

Man charged in February shooting

Timothy Scott Simpson jailed Thursday in connection with death of Faith Clay

By ALLEN BLAIR - The Independent

ASHLAND — Police jailed an Ashland man Thursday evening in connection with the shooting death of a 28-year-old Flatwoods woman seven months ago.

Timothy Scott Simpson, 23, was arrested about 6 p.m. at his Boyd Street apartment and charged with murder on a Boyd County grand jury indictment handed down just shortly before, said Sgt. W.D. Hensley of the Ashland Police Department.

He was also charged with tampering with evidence, and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center without incident, Hensley said.

The charges stemmed from an investigation into the death of Faith Kristen Fields Clay, he said.

Clay was found shot to death early Feb. 16 on a couch in a garage apartment in the 4800 block of Boyd Street.

It was unclear at first whether the shooting was a homicide, suicide or accident, but Ashland police later revealed they suspected foul play and were investigating as such.

Evidence pointed toward a homicide, and there was a “person of interest” in the case, police said then. Detectives continued by working closely with the Kentucky State Police Crime Lab, the state Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort and Boyd County Coroner Keith Moore to determine the “manner and circumstances” of Clay's death.

Authorities did not release details in February about where or how many times Clay was shot, or what type of weapon was used.

That information, as well as any motive behind the shooting or the details of Simpson’s alleged involved, was unavailable from Ashland detectives Thursday night.

Clay was a 1995 graduate of Russell High School, attended Ashland Community and Technical College and Ohio University Southern, and was a mother of three.

Happy Birthday

LISSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE NOT SO NEWLYWEDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to the library. any second now. I promise.

I'm planning on studying until Jeremy gets home from south Bend, which should be around 5 or so. that is if he left when he said he was planning on leaving.

If I don't go to the library, I know I won't studying for lab and law like I should. I already know the material well enough for multiple choice questions, but it's going to be some fill in the answer and short answer crap that I'm not ready for.

I'm interviewing my eye doctor on Wednesday for my paper that I have to write for law and I have to get questions together for her. I also have to study for our skill out session on Wed for physical assessment. I need to practive on Jeremy and make sure I can get all his vital signs in less than 5 minutes.

I also need to cathc up with my elective class because it has been put on the backburner for the past week or so. And i need to organize all my old papers so when finals come around I won't freak out.

and I need to get back to the gym this next week.

lots to do

I think I did AWESOME on the three tests that I've done so far. I've very happy.

I just order Chinese (lots of it) and I'm totally going to gorge myself and watch TV in the livingroom for a few hours. I've earned it.

I dream that Jeremy and that foreign guy from the 70's show and another guy were waxing an old Catallic with just their bare chests last night. is that strange or what?

shout out to my mama... I love you

So, it wasn't a UTI. Note to self, no sex for Jeremy during pepper season.

This is totally going on my list of most horrifying and embarassing moments. It was the kind of moment when you want to go and bury your head and sqeeze your eyes shut really hard and just wait for it to pass... but then you realize you can't because you're sitting in the doctor's office with your feet in stirrups while the doctor is grilling you on your sexual practices.

And no, we don't use peppers as sex toys, contrary to what I KNOW the nurse was thinking.

:pauses a minute as another wave of horrifying embarassment passes over me:

In other news, I got a lot done this weekend, although I was hoping to get more done. But that's ok because I have two free afternoons of studying planned into my schedule next week to take care of that.

Thursday, September 07, 2006

My mouth hurts and I'm pretty sure I have a UTI and I can't straighten out my arms from lifting weights yesterday.

So blocks coming up next weekend really sucks.

People who lie all the time suck too.

But at least I am ahead in studying. I should be good to go next weekend, especially if I have a productive weekend this weekend.

Zippy and Perhaps got their teeth cleaned yesterday. Zippy didn't take it very well.

Man, my mouth hurts like a female dog. I hate canker sores. Man, my vagina hurts like a female dog. I hate UTI's. I think I'm going to the clinic tomorrow. These cranberry concentrate caps aren't cutting it. I'm going to work on school work until bedtime now and feel sorry for myself.

mom's drama

I just got back from my followup with the surgeon. He said so far so good. Sometimes it'll turn out the fistula is too deep and will need to be raised or there will be little vessels that need to be tied off but it'll be a couple of months before he can tell for sure. It looks good so far though and I know I said that before but it makes me feel good to keep saying it. Okay. So I'm free until Nov. 2 when I go back to the surgeon.
Dr. McLeisch thinks my potassium was up for a reason other than the medicine since it wasn't up the week before I went in the hospital. Since my potassuim was just 3.4 when I went in yesterday, he said to start back on the blood pressure medicine and come in a couple of weeks for blood work to check level. And to decrease the senispar because my calcium levels were down and get that level checked, too.
Work is going well. The little sixth graders are all polite and guiet. I hope it lasts a month or two. Seventh grade girls are the worst. They are 10 times louder and ruder than the boys.
John's aunt died Tuesday. He hadn't really had much to do with her since he left his parents. I think I met her once. I can't tell if it bothers his dad (her brother) or not. We'll be at the funeral home some tomorrow.

Tuesday, September 05, 2006

well,
I applied for a job at ole wally world. I talked to the pharmacy manager and he said that he would like me to work Tues and Thurs afternoon and the weekends. I don't know how much on the weekends, but hopefully, not much.

I hope that I don't regret it.

I hate stupid white trash.

Tomorrow, both Zippy and Perhaps are getting their teeth clean. And tomorrow afternoon, we are going to the KAPS pinic, which should be fun.

lalala

Today was a good morning. well, late afternoon. We slept late and then got up and went to eat at the Olive Garden ( can't go wrong with the endless pasta bowls) and then to the mall. I got two speedos for like $42 because they were having an awesome sale. I got both of them in the same size, but one fits and the other is sort of suffocating. Hopefully, I'll be able to breathe when I haven't just eaten the endless pasta bowl.

Lissa, I can't get a hold of you on your cell phone, but if you want to go swimming anytime this week, let me know. I am pumped and ready!

I've taken all my quizzes that I needed to take and got perfect scores on them. Now, I guess I will study for endocrine some before Jeremy gets home. Tonight is the LAST NIGHT EVER that Jeremy will have to work on the weekend. That is so EXCITING.

Jeremy is going up to a Notre Dame game soon and we are going up to Cedar Point the last weekend it is open again this year. Gosh, it seems so strange having weekends free.

I stopped by the walmart on New Circle to see if they are hiring any interns. They told me to come back on Tuesday because that's when the manager will be in. I am so torn about getting a job or not. Jeremy is going to need a new car soon. His carmaro is on its last wheels, and the car he wants is in the 30,000+ range. and we need to finish paying off my car so that we won't have two car payments. but it seems like such a shame to get a job and have to work weekends when he's off. But the intern pay at walmart is $14 an hour, which is really hard to pass up. And I could transfer to the Walmart that they are building in Hamburg once they get it finished. And I don't think that the school year will be that stressful this year. And I know that I'll need a job this summer. I guess I will go and apply on tuesday and just leave it at that. I don't know... any advice from the readers?

time for an update

I took a nap when I got home but when I woke up I felt like i was going to throw up and that wasn't too much fun. But I feel better now.

I was able to work out three days this week, which made me feel good. I found the best machine to work out on with a good view of the TV, so hopefully i will get that machine more often. Watching TV helps me forget that sometimes workign out sucks.

My little toe on my left foot hurts and I don't know why.

They moved up jeremy's start date for his new job to next Monday. It seems so strange that this may be the last weekend that he hads to ever work.

This weekend I'm getting a bathingsuit from Dick's.

I need to find that stupid book for my elective.

Sunday, August 27, 2006

What a crappy way to start the morning. I didn't feel good this morning and didn't wake up until Jeremy called me from work and told me about the plane crash. There was a bride and groom on the plane on their way to their honeymoon who stayed at the hotel. And Jeremy was there with all of the wedding party and family when they heard this morning. Can you imagine? it breaks my heart. I was crying and baby Turtle came up to me and looked all confused and tried to love on me.

how horrible. I can't even wrap my brain about it

the big news

Well, I made it through a week and I'm still alive. Granted, I've been forcing myself to stay awake at least until it get's dark out even when I take a nap right when I get home from school. My only regret is that I only worked out one day last week, which isn't good. It's just that morning comes sooo early.

I'm good with all my classes except for Immunology. And I'll be good with that class once the prof actually posts on blackboard the powerpoints from class. Even so, I'm really frustrated with that class.

So.. the big news. Jeremy got a new job! He is now the inventory manager for the hotel, as well as the Courtyard in Lexington and the convention center in Cinci. He'll work M-F, no weekends and off by 5. He'll have to drive up to Cinci for the next month or so a few times a week, but they'll pay for mileage. Then, he'll only have to go up once or twice a month. We don't know yet how much of a raise it will be, but he's going to get an official offer letter sometime either on Monday or Tuesday. The other big news is that will this schedule, Jeremy will be able to go to graduate school to get his MBA, which he's been wanting to do for awhile. He's excited and tells me he has intentions of blowing them out of the water.

I ordered a new winter coat and it should be coming anyday now. That is exciting too.

I love my husband because....

he's smart

he makes awesome salsa

he loves animals

he lets me take the body wash when I leave town

his hands are the perfect size to hold

he always wakes me up to kiss me goodbye before he leaves in the morning

he fills up my car with gas when it needs it

he makes me want to be a better person

and a million other things too...

Fields and Friends

Happy anniversary Virginia and Jeremy.

I promise there will be an answer to the suspense by Friday night.

Today at school went really well. Someone stole my seat from last semester, so I got booted to the 2nd row, but I think I may like it up there. I'm sitting inbetween two of my good friends, so that's exciting.

I had to walk down to Kennedy's today to get my blood pressure cuff and my other book for my elective. But, I couldn't find my book. I assumed that Biology of Aging was in the BIO section, but that's not the case. It's in the A&S section, whatever the hell that is. But, I have an hour break because one of my classes that was suppose to start at 2 isn't starting until 3 so I'm going to walk back down there tomorrow. Fun times.

It takes me 11 minutes to walk to my elective class. I timed it today. I don't know how the whole 10 minutes in between classes is going to work. And I just realized that I'm going to have to miss my elective class every time that I have blocks. that's lame.
my tummy hurts but I think it is just from nerves, it being the first day od school and all. I get done at 11, but I'm staying to help pass out books and also to go to a medical abortion presentation. And then I have to go down to Kennedy's to get my last book and to get a blood pressure cuff.

I'll be able to tell everyone the exciting news hopefully tomorrow. And then we will have many things to celebrate on Wednesday.

Ew, I also have to turn in a form for my EPPE rotation.

I hate paying car insurance every six months. It's like we finally get up to the point where we can finally start putting money into savings and then we have to pay for car insurance. Lame. oh well.

I hope it isn't freezing in class today but I know that it will be.

Sunday, August 20, 2006

Wednesday is ging to be so cute! I get out of class at noon, and then we are heading to Louisville for the state fair and tehn ending the night at Thai Smile for dinner.

Smelling cattle and eating at the best resturant in the world with my wonderful husband? How much more can a girl ask for?

Saturday, August 19, 2006

Jeremy got home okay last night. It was WONDERFUL to see him since I haven't seen him since Monday morning. I cut my finger on a pair of scissors yesterday, so sorry for all the typos. But, I usually have typos and don't usually have a cut finger, so i guess that isn't a good excuse.

School starts Monday. I'm excited. Although, my schedule will be crazy. I can tell already. It sucks that the college of pharmacy is on a different schedule that the undergraduate program, especially when my elective is in the undergraduate program. I'm worried that they will schedule me in a time when I just can't be there. And when in the world am I going to work out. I can work out at 10-11 some days, but my 11 class is freaking 8 miles away, so I need like 20 minutes to walk there. So I just don;'t know. I guess I'll just play it by ear and take my workout clothes everyday and just go when I can, you know?

My finger hurts.

I need a haircut.

I need a blood pressure cuff.

I need my book for the biology of aging

Thursday, August 17, 2006

Well I am going to share my huge news...

I am getting a house... yes one that I own. I qualify for the loan and it is just a matter of making it happen. I am so excited and I can hardly wait.

I will be closed by the end of Sept or possibly the first of October.

Monday, August 14, 2006

Jeremy congratulations on your big news I'm so happy for you! I would love to say that I have your souveniers and I'm comming right over but sadly my luggage still hasn't come so hopefully you guys will get them soon. Virginia if you want to work out from 10-11 this semester I'm right there man! I have to get back in there. Well just wanted to say congrats so that all for now!

Saturday, August 12, 2006

we went to the wedding and she was beautiful. And there weren't many people from highschool. but that was cool, because we all got to sit at the same table and catch up.
we are going to Louisville in a bit for Celeste's wedding. Not the Passat, but my friend from high school. SHe was my clarinet buddy. Jermey was asking me if I thought I would see a whole bunch of people from highschool and I don't think I will. I think I may be the only one invited from the good ole days, but I may be completely wrong.

I think that Jeremy will be able to go up to Ashland with me and stay on Monday. But then he has to come back into town on Tuesday and then he's leaving for Florida on Wednesday. They were going to send someone else in his place, but then it would have cost like $800 to change the name on the ticket, so he's going still. Mom, Jeremy is just going to park at the airport on Wednesday. Then Thursday I may head into the ville again to see mom before I have to start back at school. crazy stuff. did I mention that I hate driving.

So, my first class is at 8 everyday. But, I think I have an hour gap in between 10 and 11. I'm trying to figure out if I should work out in the gap or if I should just get up early in the morning and work out at like 6 or so.

I found out that the revamped the PY1 block schedule and it turns out that they will be taking 7 tests in one weekend instead of the 6 that we had. Sucks for them. They changed ours too, so now we have to take 5 tests. But, I'm ok with that. Five testsi n one weekend is much better that 7. Poor PY1s.

Thursday, August 10, 2006

we have huge news. huge. But you must wait to hear it. just because. the end of next week.

Saturday, August 05, 2006

I guess I should write an update since I haven't in awhile. I have to do two projects, one that is due on Wednesday. And I'm not looking forward to doing research on them. sigh.

I cannot wait until school starts. Then I will have a good excuse to tell people to leave me alone. Leave me alone, I'm studying.

I have to go back to Ashland this week and then the week after that. And then I will be free from four hour round trip drives. Thank goodness. I hate driving. I hate awkward moments and I really hate standing on my feet 10 hours a day.

I am so ready to be done.

Fields and Friends

I was supposed to have surgery Tuesday. Instead my potassium was too high and I had to spend two long, boring, scary days in the hospital until it went down. Now I'm waiting to hear when they want to reschedule the surgery. Virginia and Jeremy came and spent the day Saturday to help me wait. We went out to eat and to a movie. Rebecca drove me there and back and spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday with me. Christy stayed most of Tuesday and came a couple of hours Wednesday and got me stuff from the store. John came Tuesday as soon as he could get away from work and most of Wednesday after he got the trucks out. Greg was the gofer and brought stuff from home and food for Rebecca and Christy. My friend Diane who is a nurse stopped in after working all day and visited. At least I felt loved even though I just wanted to go home. I didn't feel bad or I could have understood more. Rebecca is going on vacation and after having to take care of me, she deserves it. The Tuesday before last, my mother's kitchen chair broke with me on it and she had to take me to the Immediate Care Center with a bloody head wound. I ended up getting three staples in my head. Then this Tuesday there was the non-surgery. I'm grateful for my family and I've just about decided not to have Tuesday any more.

Friday, July 28, 2006

today I went to the denist and got all good scores. And then I came home and sat on my butt. And watched some long awaited People's Court.

And ate a bunch.

Now I have crappy hiccups.

and Jeremy just put in Christmas with The Cranks to watch. I don't know how you spell that.

Wednesday, July 26, 2006

I just got back from Ashland. I like my preceptor's alot. They are very nice guys. I like the rotation too, xcept I wished that I stayed busy the entire time, instead of having to stand around for awhile with nothing to do.

I've been internet free since Sunday so I was very surprised when I checked my email to find a letter from teh honor fraternity at school saying that because I got a 4.0, they were going to pay for one of my books. $145 one! It was super nice. Too bad I need to buy other books that weren't on the book list. But it was still really nice to find that in my inbox. Only 7 people out of my entire class got 4.0.

Jeremy's parent's house is SOOOO loud. I never slept more that 3 hours straight before someone woke me up. And we had to stay in the pee room aka the room were all the dogs go when no one let's them out in a timely manner. The first night was horrible with the smell, but then JEremy shampooed the carpet while I was at work the first day and it smelled much better.

The first day of work wasw the hardest because I was hurting from standing up for so long. But today, Brad told me that I could leave at 4 instead of 7, so I got to leave town early.

They shut down Man O' War to one lane. That was annoying.

For all the Transy folks, Dr. Choate passed away.
