How surreal. School is done but I feel that I need more to do. It seems strange that I won't be going to school on Monday. I don't have any homework to do. I went and worked in the garden and got a nasty bug bite on the back of my leg. It hurts.
The worms in the garden were obscene. I think they had an orgie over the winter to have reproduced so much.
Tomorrow I am going to do a harry poter marathon with some girls from school. That should be funfilled. I think we are going to get lunch and make brownies.
My tummy is hurting.
WE are going to the Farmer's market tomorrow morning to see what they have there. I may break down and get a tomato plant. My little guys have been 2 inches and not growing for the past forever. I'm worried that they won't pull through.
very sadden by Twinkie. She pooped in the kitchen but missed with the pee by about four feet. I put some baby powder down though and it really is quite absorpant.
I'm sleepy. I never did go back to sleep. Four more hours and I will have been up for 24 hours straight. awesome.

All done!
All my tests are done. Today's was the worse. I went to bed at like 9 last night and got up at midnight in order to study. But I think I did pretty well on it. We'll see.
So far the grades are an A in physiology and that's all I know.
Jeremy has reached the 25 pound weight lost and I'm jealous. He's a skinny mini.
I'm totally going to bed after People's COurt is over.

two tests down and I'm pretty sure I got A's on them.
I got accepted to the research gig at the COP.
My back still hurts.
I came home yesterday to find Turtle rolling around in flying ants and having a blast. Note to home owners: Old hoses have flying ants in them. Don't put in your garage.
I'm going to go study CAPP now.

testing
it is going to be a long week. Namely because my back is killing me- it started hurting bright and early this morning when I started studying at 8. There's no way that I can sit up and studying without it killing me. Owww.
Physiology is tomorrow. I should be ok. I just to go through the new material two more times and go over old tests.
And then OTC on Tuesday which should be a piece of cake. It isn't until 3, so I'm studying nutrition in the morning before it.
Then CAPP and nutrition on wednesday. That'll be a long day.
Biochem on thursday and to cap it all off, Drug design on Friday. I'm ready to be done. I'm ready to work in my garden!

test
Mommy, I love you so much. I have wonderful memories of being little and being loved by you. I have wonderful memories of it being now and you loving me. Thank you for not making your love conditional, for not making there any strings attached, for not ever even thinking about trying to direct my life actions with money, for listening when I am upset or sad, for not judging me. And more importantly, thank you with all my heart, and I type this with tears in my eyes, for not ever in the past nor ever in the future trying to use the people I love around me to hurt me, to punish me, to make me always wrong.
I am grateful for my mother, for her strength, for playing crazy 8's, for KFC, for nickelodeon, and that little robot on the top shelf that we could never play with. that is all

Fields and Friends
I had planned on waiting until I had time to write a really long post about my wonderful vacation in Mrytle Beach. (Thanks to Virginia and Jeremy) but life got in the way. My mother, Mary Straub, died Tuesday. She died in her sleep and my cousin Marsa found her. She'll be buried this Friday. May God have mercy on us all.

this morning was interesting. Jeremy had to run into work for a few minutes because someone forgot to do something last night. And on the way there, there was this poodle puppy mix in the middle of the intersection of Liberty and New circle. And the poor thing was running up to cars trying to get into them and people kept on driving and not stopping for it so Jeremy stopped and picked it up.
it was really cute and I wanted to keep it but jermey said we didn't have enough money for another animal. And then it peed on the carpet so that sealed the deal. So, on the way to the humane society, there was this car pulled off the side of the road on liberty and some lady was outside of it trying to get what looked like a wet towel from the middle of the road. The person in front of us stopped and put on tehir emergency lights so we sort of had to stay and watch. And the wet towel ended up being this HUGE snapping turtle... bigger than Perhaps. It was from the pond in front of this big chrch and it had this sheet of moss/slime hanging off of it. WE figured out what it was when the woman walked into the middle of the street and the damn thing nearly took her hand off. The chick's eyes got real big and she backed up real slow. And it was a good thing because a van went by and the turtle freaking lunged two feet through the air trying to bite it's tires. We were going to stop and help until we saw it try to murder someone and we figured that one animal rescue a day aws enough for us. But I think the person who was in front of us turned around and when back to help. That thing could have seriuosly killed a dog. or a Virginia.
If any one wants a puppy, this thing was the cutest ever. It was a little boy.

It's funny how when people that advantage of you, you step back, regroup and say "note to self, don't let that happen again." Because being taken advantage of is the pits. When it keeps happening and happening and now I'm finding myself wondering if I've completely cut myself off from giving anyone anything because I think they will put me at a loss in the end. It should be give and take. So, if you want me to do all the giving but I can't do any taking because your life sucks, stop asking. Stop hinting, stop suggesting, stop complaining. I'm a burnt out selfish person who works hard for what I've earned and I want to keep it. this includes money, time and emotions. So, if interacting with you does not make me feel happy or better about myself or at least in the same place I was before I started the conversation, I'm not going to waste my energy listening to you bitch and complain about things I can't or won't help fix.
Jeremy left at 9 to go get donuts from spaulding's backery. He waited in line for an hour and a half. He wasn't even home by the time I got home from my interview.
WE headed off to the dog park this morning and Twinkie was a big pansy. She wanted to be held the entire time so that was lame. But she was real cute, so she made up for it. I think all the dogs are going to sleep well tonight.
Jeremy is heading into work in a bit and I am going to take a nap and then start studying. I have to get through new drug design and old biochem all today so that I can start on old physiology tomorrow. I wish that the libraries were open more so that I could just go and live there but I think the hours are all weird because of Easter.
I'm going to go eat a salad.

It seems like I have been studying nonstop forever. And i still have a week until finals. But, I'm already behind in my studying schedule, so I have to keep going. Damn cumulative finals. I calculated it out, and I have to get a 96 or something on the biochem final in order to get an A. So, I'm studying my ass off for that. I think all the rest I am doing ok in. I can get high B/low A's and still be ok.
Tomorrow I'm going to CVS in the morning to interview one of the pharmacists there. That'll be lame. But I have to do it for a paper that is due on Wednesday.
WE are watching Twinkie this weekend and she has peed twice, once outside and once on her puppy pad, so that means two thumbs up in my book.
I'm tired. I was sleepy earlier when I was studying, but when I tried to take a nap, I couldn't becasue it was too hot. Jeremy tried to take a nap with me and he wasn't too successful either. KY weather is so strange.
Jeremy made this awesome salad. it was good. it had everything in it and it was healthy, so you can't go wrong with that.
Sunday, Jeremy has to work this Muslim wedding. He thought it was going to be only 250 people, but then he found out that there is going to be 250 women and 400 MEN. And he's the only male manager/supervisor, so he has to go and work the male room. During the wedding, the men and women are separated the entire time. It's going to be real strange. They have some culture tradions that would simply blown our little narrow minded western society minds. Although, some of them I am convinced are illegal due to health department regulations...
I am going to bed. Good luck to all you suckers who have to stay up this weekend finishing your taxes cuz your bums!

Well, we got a mini cooper. WE decided to go into our savings and pay off Fairfield so we could start saving for a car for Jeremy. We did this yesterday so i thought we would at least wait a year or so we could build up money for a downpayment. But, they had mini coopers at the Marriott showing them and someone asked Jeremy if he was interested and he said yes. He got a pretty good deal. No money down and zero percent interest. So, now we have a mini cooper. It's pretty small and doesn't take up much space. And I've seen it go. it moves pretty fast.

I have a test at 12:30 and I haven't study for it at all. I have to make something and write some other stuff and I have to be dressed up and I should be freaked out but I'm more worried about being freaked out about not being freaked out.
Sorry Lissa for being a HORRIBLE workout buddy. You can blow me off the best of the semester :(
AHHHHH...... I need to go study. I hope this test is as easy as I want it to be.

I hope that everyone liked the new changes that i've made to the layout.
Today was really productive. Not so much yesterday. I had a huge list of things to do yesterday. Didn't really get them done. I worked some on a paper that I had due. But then I took a nap and then Lissa called and i went over to her apartment with Perhaps and watched a movie with her and Chris. I think Maybe appreciated the break. Perhaps doesn't have any clue whatsoever that Maybe is super sore and can't be jumped on. Then I headed back home around midnight and waited for Jeremy to get home from work. He didn't get home until after 4 in the morning. Then we went to bed and slept until 11ish. Jeremy headed back into work to have brunch with some guy and his wife. His company is spending $120,000 at the hotel in the next week and Jeremy had to go and meet with him to start kissing his butt right from the get go. It's sad the things you have to do when you start climbing up the corporate ladder.
The enter time Jeremy was gone, I worked. I finished my two applications and wrote two papers and did research for a presentation that I have to give on Monday. Now, I just need to write my last b mod journal for the semester and I think i'll be done for the night. I may look over drug design before I go to sleep.
Goodnight all!

Maybe had her surgery yesterday and she came back this morning and she is doign very well. And the surgery cost $300 less than we were told yesterday so that was nice.
Jeremy and I went out to dinner and a movie last night minus the dinner. We saw Brokeback Mountain and I wasn't impressed. It really bothered me that there wasn't a relationship at the beginning, there was just sex and then the relationship showed up 20 years later. And it really bothered me that the guy was so quick to be disloyal to his wife. Oh well. I thought it was going to be a really good movie, but I guess I was wrong. Jeremy said I expected too many stereotypes and they didn't show up.
Jeremy got Hart's drycleaning to buy him a new suit. They lost his pants like 3 months ago and for a month or so they completely said that he never gave them any pants even though the copy of the ticket Jeremy has blantantly has 4 items written on it and the copy they returned with the other three things had the four marked out and 3 written over it. They said that the bell captain from Marriott who picked up all the drycleaning for the hotel lost it. They told him to wait a month to see if the pants turned up. They didn't of course so they made Jeremy fill out this paper work. Finally, jeremy went to S&K and got a price to replace the pants but they said they couldn't order pants separately so he had to get a whole new suit for $200. Jeremy took this information to Hart's and they said they would pay half but not all since they didn't lose the jacket, just the pants. Now, is it fair that Jeremy didn't do anything wrong, but he has to fork out 100 bucks? Hart's thought it was completely fine, but after threats of going to court and gossip spreading around Marriott, they broke down and said they would pay for the whole thing.
Moral of the story: Don't use Hart's drycleaners because they're dickheads.

Taylor didn't do so hot tonight. I hope that he doesn't get voted off.
Tomorrow I have a midterm test in physiology and I'm the readiest I have ever been. I'm getting up at 5 tomorrow morning to study for it. THe test is at 8 and I could take it now and get a b I bet.
My goal until the end of the semester is to spend that majority of my day being positive instead of negative. Hopefully, I will be able to tell a difference in my attitude and overall happiness. So, no more bitching!

So, I've forgotten all that's happened in Hawaii, so there won't be any more posts about that, cept for maybe some pictures that I'll post later on.
I haven't had a good weekend at all. I was suppose to study all weekend but instead I have slept a lot more than I've needed to and watched alot of TV. I have a midblock exam on Wednesday for physiology and I think an extra credit quiz tomorrow for Biochem but I don't really care. I need to start studying now because all of those damn commulative finals that I have. sigh.
We did go out and buy some stuff for the garden. I'm going to start planting forsure next weekend. It'll be great. WE are planting two types of tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage, green bell peppers, jalapenos, raspberries, grapes, radishes, cucumbers, and squash. And maybe carrots, if we have room. Oh, and canteloupes. Hopefully, all the plants will survive cuz we are only plantin one of each of everything, so if somethign doesn't surivive, we don't have a backup. Cept for the tomatoes. We'll planting plenty of those. I hope there is enough light for the berries and grapes because we are planting those besides the house and next to the fence.
My mom and dad are in myrtle beach right now. They got there safely.
