well, our house is now empty and surprisingly still clean. It was a nice visit with them and it was even sad to see them go. I hope that they have a safe trip and that they have a good move to Virginia Beach.

today we got up and biked down to the Farmer's market. I about DIED. yeah, doing three cycling classes a week for the past three months really shows.... in Jeremy. Not so much me. needless to say, my butt hurt a tad when it was all said and done.

Then we headed to Ashland for Mona and Greg's reception for the Kentucky folks. it was interesting to say the least. I'm glad that it is over. I think we spent more time driving there and back than we actually spent there. But, after tomorrow, we won't see Mona and Greg for who knows how long. They are coming with Urshie and Ben to spend the night. I think Jeremy is taking them to a Japanese resturant in the afternoon, then we are going to have Greek Salad tomorrow night. Our tomoatoes are doing nicely. We have gotten several heirloom Cherokee Purples off and they are wonderful. And today we had tomato sandwiches with ox hearts and they were very good too.

At the absolutely very last minute, we got our passports. And because I was willing to take a chance and not be assigned a cabin right away we've been upgraded up three levels to a larger cabin with a veranda looking out over the ocean. So if we can just get on the ship we'll be okay.

Turtle is so cute. Every morning, after Jeremy gets up and goes to work out and then work, I roll over and take his pillow, and she alwasy comes and curls up on top of mine and goes to sleep. it is so cute. LAst night I was taking a bath and she came in and started chirping at me because she couldn't understand what was going on. Usually, I take a shower and she plays with me behind the shower curtain.

I feel much better now. I really think I was malnourished and dehydrated last week and that made me feel so bad. I got some fresh fruits and veggies in me and I feel much better. I feel like this summer I haven't been eating enough healthy stuff like I should, even though this is the time of the year it is the best.

I haven't been to work out either, which I know is making me feel like crap. I have had no excuse all this week, except laziness. I didn't have an excuse this morning either, except that I wanted to sleep in. I have to work in Daville at 1, so that means I have to leave Lexington at 12 to get there on time. THen I work until 10 which means I don't get home until 11. it makes me said. I should have worked out this morning.

My nails are finally off, but the ones underneath of them have seen better days. oh well, what can you do.

quandary is such a weird word.

Jeremy got the book last night and started reading, and he is about 80 pages away from being done. he said the entire time he has been reading he has had this feeling of dread. how sad.

Lately, I've been feeling very sick in the morning, and my head has been hurting. it sucks. I am off all next week until Wed, I think. I really need to get back into the gym, but I haven't been because I have been feeling so bad.

I wish I could get these stupid fake nails off. I'm off to soak them in fingernail polish remover again.

A quandary: what first--the book I'm in the middle of or the new Harry Potter?

I won a free U of L tee shirt from Dawhares in Jefferson Mall. I got my haircut and Monday I'm headed for Frankfort to get our birth certificates so we can get into Canada for the few hours we'll be there before the ship leaves. I already printed proof that we applied for our passports. We applied on March 1. So much for a twelve week wait we were told about. If I do what I'm supposed to why can't they get the passport to me on time? Why do we need a birth certificate? Because they attached the birth certificate to the passport application. I know. I should have just got another one then but I was told not to worry. We would get it back with our passport. So against my nature I didn't worry and now I have to make the trip. My friend Diane is going to go to Frankfort with me and we'll have lunch there-maybe with her daughter. I'm trying to make the best of things but it's so frustrating. I've wanted to go to Alaska since I was a little girl but now I wonder if it's worth all the hassle. I decided to wait until tomorrow instead of going out at midnight to pick up my Harry Potter. I really liked Luna in the latest movie. I saw it twice and will buy the movie and watch it more when it comes out. There is a lot you don't catch the first time around.

my car is ok... it just had a bad battery. and it needs new tires so I won't spin out of control getting off exit ramps and end up in ditches facing the wrong way. I'll be happy if I only have to do that once in a lifetime.

so, we really need to clean the house. Mona and Greg and Urshie and Ben and maybe Zoie are coming to stay for a day or two, and we need to clean. I've done a little bit. Jeremy has to finish reading the last hp book too before the next one comes out, so he may not be that much help. I think we are going to end up putting alot of stuff into storage because the house is starting to get a little junky.

yesterday was CRAZY at Richmond. and I think I may have screwed them because I was putting in 5 hour wait times so that stuff wouldn't go into the red, but it will go, just in the middle of the night. but, they can alwasy edit it in the morning. they really need to be open until 11 or so because there just isn't enough time in the day to get things done.

this week I am at New Circle tomorrow, Danville THursday, Richmond fri and Todd's Road Saturday. good times.

I need to sign up for CPR and my TB test i think. I also need to shower. and do laundry

we made it back into town ok, a few hours ahead of time in fact. we had to take the bride and groom to the airport so that they could head off to Hawaii. I hope they have a good time.

The wedding went well, eith a few mishaps that we were able to take care of. more drama than there should have been, but you know how that goes. When all was said and done, I was one tired puppy at the end of the night. I think Mona and Greg had a wonderful time.

my nails are shorter. I went ahead and cut them. I tried soaking one in finger nail polish remover, but that didn't work very well. My finger just turned into a prune.

on the way back, we stopped in Seymore, Indiana because they had a Russell Stover's outlet store. we got a really good deal on some candy, so I'm sure we will both be gaining a couple of pounds.

In other news, Jeremy and I have decided to do a dualathalon, which is a 6 mile run and an 18 mile bike ride. it should be fun, but we have alot of training to do. it is coming up in September.

we got here ok! we had a fun night with tim and liz last night, a wonderful breakfast with apple pancakes, a good workout and a nice nap. now we are waiting to go out to dinner with mona and the guys and then on to see Harry Potter.

Yesterday was a funfilled day in Kings Island. it was fun, although on the way home it was a little stressful because I was worried about the dogs being home alone for so long.

This morning I got up and went to work out and ran 3 miles in 33 minutes, which pretty good for me. I was expecting to do 12 minute miles. then I did 45 minutes on the elliptical. then I called it a day.

yesterday was uneventful. I went to work in Richmond and had another good day. I don't understand why people don't like it out there. I came home and we watched Blood Diamond. Then we went on a walk at like 10:30. it was really nice outside.

I just got done giving the dogs a bath and blow drying them. Jeremy is cutting their hair with the new clippers that we got.

I think we are going to refinance our house and lock in our mortgage payment.

Happy 4th of July!

i have 24 bug bites from working outside in the garden last night and I'm in slight agony. and Jeremy accident set the oven to broil instead of bake and our dinner is slightly ruined.

This morning, we watched Magnolia before I went to work. If you seen the movie, you'll understand why this series of events is so bizarre. It's a movie about human connection and coincidence. Anyway, we watched that this morning.

So Thursday, we went to dinner at Ramsey's and apparently Jeremy's ex-roommate, Emily, was working there. I mentioned it in an earlier post. Anyway, Jeremy and I haven't had any interaction with her in over 3 years, and when we did have interaction with her and her boyfriend, it was not pleasant, to say the least. Anyway, surprise, surprise... she told our waitress that she wanted to give us a free pie. But, it was after she left, so Jeremy wasn't able to say thank you. I think he tired to send her an email, but it bounced back.

Fastforward to today... I went outside to knock down a wasp nest outside the garage that Jeremy sprayed last night after the movie and there was a newspaper in our driveway. I hate it when the paper guy throws a paper in our driveway, which they do ever couple of months because I equate it to littering... it's one of my pet peeves. We don't get the paper because it's wasteful when you can get the same news on the internet for free without any paper waste. Anyway, I knocked down the nest and brought the paper inside to read the comics before throwing it out.

So, Jeremy is reading a section of the newspaper, and finds an article in it about Jimmy, Emily's boy, about being a chef at Spindletop hall and growing a garden. Jeremy made a comment about how it was strange that the pie thing happened this week and now there's this article in a newspaper that we shouldn't have gotten.

Fastforward to when I went into work today... I'm checking someone out on the register and I noticed that their house number was 712 and ours is 713, so I commented that we were neighbors because I lived across the street from him. We hadn't ever seen each other, and he mentioned it was because he was always at work. I asked him where he worked, and he replied.......
