the boys really need a haircut.  Beckett really doesn't want one.

The boys had games today and they were so stinking cute. Both of them score goals and were so proud of themselves and more importantly didn't get upset when things didn't go as they wanted. Liam did twist his. Ankle during the 4th quarter and has been a little gimpy since then. I went ahead and got him some basketball shoes- cheapest ones I could find were $40, but i guess all three of them will eventually use them. And Liam will have some ankle support next week.

We went to the march downtown. It's really emotional for me. Like, I got choked up every time Liam asked me a question about it. The injustice of having to step back in time. The insanity of billionaires getting to decide the fate of the world.  I never thought I would have to be involved in a protest. Those times were already taken care of. Why are we having to fight the fight again? There were a lot of people.

After the march, we got milk shakes and then I came home and took a nap while the boys played outside. Tomorrow, out new Sunday tradition- Jeremy cooks breakfast, I put up the boys laundry, we hang around the house, go do a class at the Y why the boys play in the child watch area, then swimming at the pool. Boys are on electronics ban until the end of the month.

I am so tired--- it was a fun day at the Y, but I wish I could have had longer than a 5 minute power nap.  Tomorrow we are going to the zoo.  the boys are so cute playing basketball.  I love it.

we signed up for the Y, and I'm really glad we did.  I actually only did it to save on the money for doing sports because it's 30 bucks extra a kid without being a member and having two kids that want to play basketball this winter hurt.  So we signed up- waited until after Christmas when they waved the sign up fee. and O M G.  they have free childcare, and like super kickass class rooms that are all separated for the different kids.  They have a huge pool that is open ALL FREAKING DAY for free swim. with a giant slide.  and a millon lifeguards.  And P90x and PiYo and insantity classes. SHUT UP. and spinning classes. 

And, it is literally 5 minutes away.  So, the plan for the winter. Liam has basketball on Tuesday at 5:30 and Wyatt has it at the same time on Thursday.  While one of them is playing, one parent will be getting steps on the walking track that goes around the top of the gym so that you can look down (I KNOW SHUT UP!!!!) and the other parent is going to be with Beckett and whoever isn't playing basketball in the pool.  Then flipflop the next day.  Everyone is going to be kickass when summer time comes with swimming. And on Saturdays, we can abandon, er I mean, leave Beckett in the childcare area to play while we watch the basketball games rather than having to fight him on our laps for the duration of two games.  I AM SO EXCITED>

Happy new Year everyone!  This year I'm going to lose the 9 pounds I've gained since Thanksgiving, I'm going to be more patient with the boys, and I'm going to try to help more around the house..


And I'm gonna catch them all!
