30 years old.  That seems so old.  But I still feel young, so I guess it's okay?

If you told me that when I was 30, I would have two beautiful boys, a husband that I consider my best friend and who would stand by me regardless of the worst of times, that I would be one of the most senior spots in my job, that I would love my job... I wouldn't not believe you, but I would just think it's strange.

Things I want to work on in my 30's:
-get back into shape.  the weight on the scale doesn't mean anything.  I would rather be 10 pounds heavier and work out every day.  With that said, I don't want to miss out on the boys to work out, so I don't see this happening anytime soon.
-not be so down.  My moods cycle alot, and I was really down there for a bit.  It was bad postpartum with Liam and then a little bit last month.  I think it really has to do with the winter.  I immediately started feeling better when the weather got nice last week
-leave work at home.  Not waking up at night to think about work related issues
-spend quality time with the boys, not looking at the internet or watching TV
-pay of the mortgage.  Get Debt free before 40.
-make a decision about if another baby is for our family or not and stick with it.

Um.... I LOVE MY JOB!!!

seriously.  It is ridiculous.  Like, I'm giddy at work.

So, I think everyone knows already, but.... I GOT THE JOB!!!

It ended up that three of the people that had expressed interested ended up not applying (one would have lost too much money as she is currently the overnight pharmacist and would end up losing like 25K a year in differential, one who said she would hate the job, and another I think who was too lazy to spend the hour getting the application done).  Also, another person got told they couldn't apply because they weren't full time.  So, it ended up me and two other people applying.

So, I interviewed at 9:00 on Friday and the other people at 10 and 11, and I got a phone call at around 3:30.  I was very excited, but felt really bad for one of the other people who interviewed because i knew she really wanted the job.  but it is what it is.  I would never ask someone to change their lives for me...

But, Saturday night, I pretty much had an emotional breakdown and cried like a baby.  I was putting the babies down with Jeremy and Wyatt was being really whinny, and I thought, I applied for this job so that I could be home with the boys more, but I don't even really like them right now, and I really loved my old job, what in the world have I gotten into.

I felt alot better on Sunday, and I think it was part of the separation process.  I have never left a job that I just loved before, so, I needed some closure.  I really liked lifeguarding, but it was always something that I knew I would never do for a living.  But I really thought I might be a staff pharmacist in our awesome rotation until I retire.  But working 3-11 and weekends and even working until 6pm is really hard on Jeremy.  And when the boys starat school, I won't even getting to see them at all except maybe for 30 minutes in the morning (if I can get out of bed after 2nd shift) when I work 3-11pm.  It is the best for our family, and I really think that I will like this job.

anyways, time for walking dead!

so, now it is up to like 5 or 6 people applying for the job.  So, needless to say, I'm a little stressed about it.  And one of the girls (the one I said her communication skills aren't up to par) told me today that if I got the job, the entire pharmacy would be angry because I'm the newest person there and I'm not any better than anyone.  Sorta of thing you think, and maybe gossip about to other people, but not say it directly to someone's face. Didn't really respond, because there isn't a way really to respond to something like that unless I wanted to say something hateful.  Which I didn't, because I like that girl and I thought she was my friend.  I think she is just scared, I guess, because she really wants the job too.  But, it is what it is.  I'm not going to change her mind.  Who know who will get the job.  And it's the truth, if I got that job, people would talk about it for months. And say I shouldn't have got it.  But they won't say that I lied and cheated my way into the job, or that I used my sex appeal (ha!) or anything like that.  They won't say I wasn't qualified, or I didn't work hard beforehand or I wasn't a pleasant person to be around.  they only fault they will find is that I haven't put in my time.

But the time I have put in has been really kick ass and people who want to bash me can SUCK IT!
