This weekend was wonderful.... more so than I ever expected.

I wish that there were smart, intelligent, witty people in Lexington.

Liz and Tim were so beautiful. It was so sweet to watch them get married. I could tell that it really meant alot to Jeremy that he was in their wedding.

Cedar Point was a blast too. There weren't many people there at all.

We went over to Chris and Emily's apartment tonight for a little bit and had some awesome bean dip. But the party was cut to an end because Jeremy has to get up for work at 4 am.

How awesome is it that we ran out of halloween candy and we ended up having to give out packs of crackers and oatmeal. Sorry to the 5 kids who had to suffered with breakfast and lunch food.

There was a guy at the wedding who totally looked like Orlando Bloom.

The doggies peed all over themselves when they finally saw us. It was cute, besides that whole pee on the carpet thing.

My lips are very chapped but Jeremy came to my rescue tonight and brought me home chapstick. He's my hero.

It doesn't matter what you do with your life as long as you're happy. We need to remember this more often.

Perhaps got out and then she was found but I was all freaked out. She's staying at Jeremy's boss' house while we are in South Bend and I was FREAKED out when he called this morning and said she had gotten out. Jeremy drove all the way over there and found her in like 2 secs so I feel better. But my heart is still in my throat. That dog.... I tell ya! She can fit through a mouse hole.

I love my sister.

Now the tally is 2 A's and 2 B's.

Next weekend is going to be great. I'm very excited about it. I am also excited that Jeremy is going to be making lasagna for dinner tonight.

Ketchup is such a weird thing. It's completely gross by itself, but we put it on everything. Seriously, it's just a big glob of stuff when it's still in the bottle. Pretty gross. Did you know that Jeremy hates ketchup? That and gum.

I hate beef jerky and car rides and rabbit. Now, those smells can cause some gagging.

Does anyone want to come over and iron all my clothes?

Um..here's a cute picture. It's the Siamese kittens that we foster cared.

Today was a wonderful day. A great day to be exact. Even though it rained a bit. I wasn't outside when it was doing it, so I didn't get wet at all. Great timing.

Jeremy got two new suits today for work. And a pink shirt. It was great.

Then we went to pet smart and got the dogs a little bed but right when we got home, Zippy took up residency in it. Oh well... as long as some one uses it.

We paid another $3000 off on Fairfield today. I am SOOOOOO excited about being out of debt on today.

Have I told you that I love cucumber salad? Jeremy and I made another batch today. It's so goooooooood. I could totally eat that everyday.

I have a million things that I should be doing. But I'm not going to. I'll do them later on this week.

The printer's all ghetto. I need to get Jeremy to look at it.

There wasn't any halloween costumes at the store for Maybe and Perhaps. That made me sad. But I did get them some of those corn starch dog bones that cost 14 freakin dollars for 3. I left them knaw on it for about $1 worth each and then I put it up later.

Tests so far.... one A and one B. Hopefully the other's went well too.

people do stupid things when they have regrets. I know, I do the same things. But just because I do the stupid things doesn't mean I'm going to help you do the stupid things. And in fact, I think I'm going to stop doing my stupid things because I realized how stupid you looked doing your stupid things. And it's all pretty stupid. But I guess it's hard not to care anymore. But wouldn't we be in better places, places that are overall less stupid, if we stopped caring. Sometimes caring just makes it worse. And more stupid.

Alas, Rebecca is doing fine and not stupid at all and very beautiful and is excited about her new life and the future kids she's going to have and getting done with school and being with her new husband and all those little things that makes her happy. and not stupid. So, that's all you need to know. Nothing from that will change anytime in the near future, and if it does, you can find out from your own family who still TALKS to her. So, store that in your little stupid head and be on your way.

updates updates beautiful beautiful updates

get ready for a random post....

Some of my professors are shady. I never had a problem with any of my professors at Transy really, but I sure do at UK.

For example, my drug design prof took off 5 points out of 30 because my homework assignment wasn't "neat" enough. All the answers were right, and the paper wasn't torn or ripped or stained. Apparently, I can't erase things on a four page math assignment, I have to start all over.

5 points for erase marks. give me a break.

And then there's CAPP. Every single one of us (meaning all 131 of us) got 5 points taken off of our 15 point lab because one of the lab instructors found a copy of someone's lab homework and they assumed that it was going around to everyone and they were copying it. Would they listen when we told them that like over 75% of us had copied our assignment because it takes them like 3 weeks to get assignments back and we needed it for the test we were having in less than a week to study for. Of course not... Everyone gets at least a D for the lab, that's assuming that you did the other sections perfectly.

Shady I tell you.

It drives me crazy that we spent the last week going over stuff for the Autonomic Nervous System and i memorized all those damn alpha and beta and muscarinic and blah blah crap and what innervates what for the test. And then we start a new section today with a different instructor and guess what? We are going to spend the next 4 weeks going over the exact same stuff. Except this time, he is actually going to teach it to us instead of making us memorize all that stupid crap just for it to fall out of our heads the minute we step out the door.

I'm a tad flustered from all those exams. Can you tell?

I want to take a nap (there's a new one!). But I can't because all the bedroom beds have been slept in by strangers... not really stangers but Mona and her boy and another guy from their school. they spent the night last night. I made some really good chili... we put in peppers and tomatoes from the garden. it was great.

Maybe i'll get a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor. At leats until Jeremy gets home.

Oh, some other news. Jeremy is going to be in Tim's wedding and we have to figure out a way for me to not have to miss class and for us to still go up there together. I would be missing CAPP (the one class where attendance is actually taken) and it would be two hours of it. I don't know what to do yet.

Jeremy and I really need next weekend to spend some quality time together. Pharmacy school has been really stressful for me. I come home, i do homework, i take a nap, more homework i go to sleep, i wake up, go workout, go study, go to school and then i start it all over again. I told Jeremy that I felt like I was having an affair with pharmacy school. And it's not going to stop anytime soon.

Today when I was on the ellipitial machine, I was thinking about moving down to florida and having a huge house with an exercise room and a little apartment in the basement or something in case we needed to take care of our parents and a nursery amd a 3 car garage and having really nice stuff and a big backyard and having 9 to 5 jobs after the kids get into school.

Funny, that stuff will never happen. Maybe when we're 80 or something. Jeremy and I could totally live off our incomes that we have now for the rest of our lives. We have everything we want or need (Jeremy may mention that he wants a mini cooper, but I'm not going to justify that with a response :P). It's going to be strange when we make a lot of money. I feel like we're making alot of money now (you know, with me working a whole 2 days a week) even with one income because we are able to pay off like $1000 worth of debt every month, at least when we don't any sick babies to worry about. My goal is to have all the student loans paided of (at least for undergraduate) but the time I get out of school. I wonder if that will happen. I can't believe we've spent over $5000 because of sick animals in the past 2 years. I wouldn't change a thing though. I'm glad that kids get covered by health insurance for when we do have them I bet when we have kids, no amount of money will be enough. Ha!

If we won the lottery, I bet we could totally force BB&T to give us back our $7 that they STOLE from us.

tomorrow i have to be at school from 7 until 5. that's goign to stink.

who in their right mind writes a 26 page biochem test?

The same person who leaves the answer key for 1 of the 2 essays on the test when he passes them out.

I'm a tad tired. I just had to retype those last sentences a few times because I can't keep my eyes open. I wish I knew what the autonomic nervous did. I got up to study but I don't think that's going to work.

OK, I give up. You win. I'll stop bothering you now.

Tuesday, October 11, 2005

I had to go the emergency room this morning. It was sort of scary. But I'm better now. Just hope that whatever bit me in the neck while I was sleeping doesn't ever come back. In a little over an hour, my mouth was swollen shut and I had trouble breathing. The doctor said the next time it happens I may not be so lucky because the reaction will go much faster.

Sunday, October 09, 2005

Ok, I'm totally going to start studying. Any second now. Really.

So, I have six tests in less than a week. And I am no where near ready. Like, I've done all the prep reading and taken notes on my notes and all that jazz but I haven't actually sat down and MEMORIZED anything. Which is a huge problem because the ratio of common sense knowledge that I need to know and the memorization part I need to know is like 1:9.

So, I bet you're wondering what happened right? I mean, here I am with my amazing three day weekend and I haven't gotten anything accomplished. Well folks, I have my first cold of the season. And not just a cold, but one of those sinus things that makes my head feel like I'm going to explode. So the whole shoving things into my head for memorization purposes isn't working too well. I've been torn between if I should get drugged up and go to sleep and try to get into a better health position for the end of the week or if I should stay up and study and not remember anything. So far, I've opted for sleeping. Alot.

I just woke up from like a three hour nap and I feel better. I think. I'm at least thinking much better. I have a glass of ice tea beside me and some charmin tissue paper and no benadryl or Sudafed in sight. And my head is clear enough to shove some stuff in before I pass out. And I have a six inch veggie sub in the fridge waiting for me when I get the munchies (oh and 4 cookies from Subway too... I planned ahead.) DId you know they have spinach and cucumbers and carrots at the Subway off of New Circle? "You" referring to no one since no vegetarians read this site and no one else would care. Next month is my 10 year mark. How stange is that?

I'm suppose to meet with someone in the morning to go workout but I think I'm goign to postpone that until Tuesday to give myself an extra day to recover. I'll need to call her later on tonight and give her a heads up.

Man.... I wish tests didn't come so fast.

And did I mention that I hate cold weather. Only four more winters like this and then I'm outta here! If anyone wants to follow me they can.

I am thankful that my husband is responsible and doesn't do stupid shit like other people's husbands do.

I am also thankful for pan pizza from Papa John's. It's good!

I'm thankful that I have a workout buddy so I'm going to force myself out of bed tomorrow morning.

It should be Thanksgiving. Maybe I'll start a list.

Yesteday was busy. I got up early and studied and then I got showered and all smell goody and then headed to Louisville for the Scalf's bridal shower. It was fun times although I showed up early. I had it in my head that it was from 5 until 7:30, when it was really from 5:30 to 8. I was totally convinced that my invitation had a different time on it but when I got home I was wrong. I've done some strange things, but mistaking a 7 for an 8 is pretty bad.

The party was fun. The punch was spiked and I ended up getting the tiniest bit of liquid and then these huge gollups of sherbert. It was great because I love me some sherbert. It was sort of awkward but that would be expecteed since I didn't really know the other folks there. Eric's little sister was there and I totally didn't recognize her from highschool. I guess it's been like 5 years since I've seen her. wow.

And then I drove home and picked up our new cell phones. Finally! One's black and one's silver and I have no idea which on is the Louisville or Lexington number. Anyway, the old Louisville number is still the same, so all you folks can swamp me with phone calls. Actually, wait two weeks and then call me. I'm studying for tests.

I got really pissed off at work on Friday to pick up the pager for on call. And Zack was like "oh, yeah... we scheduled you for Sunday." Now that, my dear sirs and madams... is bullshit. I'm working every Friday and Saturday night and I refuse to take Sunday. I worked last Sunday as a favor to Criag (he had to leave for Louisanna for the reserves for a month) and it was no big deal. My studying needs sort of takes a back seat to destroyed cities. But, I was out of the house throughout the day for like 6 hours and it sucked. I didn't get anything done and I really needed to get things done. So, I told Joey and all them that I wasn't going to take Sunday anymore and that was that. So Friday I saw that I was on Sunday again. And the Friday night I requested off to Tim and Liz's wedding. And another Sunday in the middle of my block exams. I tried to talk it over with Zack and Joey and they kept on saying that they had things to do and I had to work it. So, after a few heated minutes, I basically said "listen, I will walk into Steve's office RIGHT now and put in my two weeks without a 2nd thought. I'm only doing on call to help you guys and if I feel the hint of pressure or stress about school, I will quit." Joey totally got the point by then and marked my name off of those days.

When people are going though hard times, I want to fastforward to like 10 years from now so they can look and see that everything will be alright. I also want people to miss me as much as I miss them.

School and stuff

I started back to school this week and I am very excited!!
I am taking accounting and human resource management. These are two of my favorite subjects. (I must mention, in case you don't know, I am an accountant by day)
I have to do a capital budgeting project for school and talked to my CFO (to whom I report) and she gave me some ideas on what I can use. The instructor said he wanted us to do a project on our business if at all possible so I am hoping this will get me some major brownie points on top of a good grade.
Everyone have a great night!!
