I was a nerve wreck at work being away from Beckett. Wasn't too stressful. Made lots of milk.  So tired when I got home but did an hour long workout.  Need to go to bed soon.

A 13 year old boy drowned at Transy on Monday night. There were two lifeguards on duty, as well as the assistant swim coach.  The police have video evidence of the incident.

How to you handle it when you drop off your kid for computer camp and then get a phone call saying he is dead ?

Those kids who were life guarding- I can picture exactly what happened- they got stuck watching someone else playing. Didn't scan the pool. Didn't keep their heads moving. They likely have not slept since it happened.

I never did alert the administration about my concern for Liam's safety during swim lessons. If I had, would there have been another inservice?

Jeremy is out running at Todds road and I have home with the boys.  I'm trying to put up laundry, but Beckett has decided he only wants to nap in my arms, so I'm sorta tied down.  He is going to have a rude awakening (ha) when he starts daycare.

I got back to work on the 30th... I'm ready to go back.  The 12 weeks will have flown by, but it will be nice to be back at work earning a living.  I am so thankful that we are able to take unpaid leave off... it's not even a question for some people.

Jeremy took the boys to so that I could sleep im but I didn't realize it and I got up and dressed to help them get ready and now everyone is gone and I'm pacing waiting for someone to get back especially Beckett so I can cuddle and nurse him.  He always gets the boys to say good morning to me even if I'm still in bed but he did t today.  Rough night with the storms and I was up an hour with Beckett.

About finished up with 4 weeks of insanity. Broke down and took some pictures. I am mortified at the pictures. Stretch marks, fat rolls... I kept trying to remind myself that I'm only 2 months postpartum, but my self esteem doesn't give a damn. At least my insecurity is keeping me accountable.   May e after a few months I will post the pics, when I can put some after pics up with them!

Beckett has found his hand, and has started sleeping until 3:30 or 4am. Get him back down for an hour or so, then he is back up again :( he has a urine burn on his thigh which doesn't seem to bother him but it bothers me. We are pretty good about diaper changing, so I donr know why it popped up. He is for sure a mama's boy. Loves to cuddle and nurse, and when he cries I can always make him stop. Nursing continues to go well.

Wyatt has stopped hitting mostly. I guess it was just a weeks phase? He talks ssoooo much now. It is sorta creepy how much more he talks than Liam. And how he learns from Liam.  You can't get anything past him.

Liam has been taking swim lessons. He went with Jeremy to Friday night flicks on his own. His hair is crazy. I feel sorry for him when he gets older and cares about his appearance cuz I have no idea how to manage it. So thick and full, it seems like it needs To be cut once a week and has serious bed head problems. It'll be interesting to see what kind of hair beckett has. His has fallen out on his sides, so he sorta has Baby mullet.  Wyatt's hair is thick and fine, sorta straw like now that his hair cut is growing out. I thought he was going to have my hair, but it is a lot thicker.
