My boobs are huge. I can't imagine how big they will get since I still have 5 more months.
Lissa and Chris stopped by last night before the headed out of town. It was very good seeing them. Liam and I went to sleep at 8:30 and got up at 9:15 to see them. I am such an early bird these days. When Liam goes down at 8:30, I am right behind him. Jeremy usually is too, but sometimes he stays up and reads.
Yesterday at work wasn't too bad at all. nice and quiet.
Liam has soooo many toys. I wonder how you institute a toy freeze? the new baby isn't going to need any new clothes or toys.

it's a boy!
I thought I would be terrified for some reason if it was a boy, but when the tech told us first off, it was completely fine. I've been calling the baby "him" on accident forever, so maybe I knew already, even though I wanted it to be a girl. Everything is good to go, measure all the right measurements. I shot up to 9 pounds weight gain, but I'm okay with that. We did go to all you can eat Pizza Hut buffet right before my 2nd appt, so I really wasn't surprised. Even if I gain the weight, I know I will lose it.
Liam is so sweet with the animals, I know he will be amazing with the baby. I least I really really hope.
He took a head dive at the shoe store yesterday and got carpet burn on his forehead. He usually gets his hands out in front of him, but he was wearing his new winter coat and I think that slowed down his reaction time.

i wrote this earlier but it didn't post
the theme for my life is B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
I wish people would shut up about things they know nothing about. I also wish I could trust people to do their jobs well.
I'm pretty sure I just put on navy socks with black pants, but it's the weekend and few people will be seeing me at work today:0
Liam is such a joy in my life. he said Maybe the other day.

If I could take a snap shot of how I feel/think right now in this time in life, I would want to include that I love Liam so much and I am so glad that I get to see the developments in his life. I love that I get to cuddle with him every day and see him smile and I know he loves me. The same with Jeremy. I just wish that we would stop being sick and under the weather. One day, the teeth will all be in, and he will be immuno-awesome.
This time next year, we will have a 26 month old and a 7 month old. I hope they love each other like crazy.
I find out on the 19th if it is a boy or a girl

yesterday SUCKED. I was in the booth all day and everyone it seemed like was a problem. And the person that was in the other booth is notoriously slow, so i felt like I was seeing every single patient. and when 4:20 came around, I just wanted to go get liam and love on him, and I just happened to check my schedule to see what I was working tomorrow, and realized I had signed up for comp time from 4:30 to 8:30pm. Worst. Feeling. EVER. I was completely running on empty and I don't know how I made it through the rest of the evening without crying.
Jeremy did bring me dinner and brought Liam by so that was good. And Liam was asleep when I got hom at 9:00 pm (on the couch), and when I came in and sat beside him, he opened his eyes, saw me, crawled over to my lap, and feel back asleep. it was exactly what I needed. so sweet. i was able to nurse him and cuddle him before putting him to bed in his crib. and he slept all the way through until around 5:45 this morning and even then he really didn't wake up... I just heard him stretching so i went and got him to cuddle.
I have to be in the booth again today so wish me luck. hopefully it will be better. I'm thinking the clinics were just overbooked because Monday was a holiday. Next week I am working 12 hours extra hours. lameo. but, I'm the one who signed up for them, so i really shouldn't complain. but I will.

I can't believe it is September already. And I can't believe Liam is almost a year old.
I also can't believe I'm still freaking sick. This is going on three weeks. I'm ready for it to be done.
I have cancelled my gym membership. I haven't been going out of guilt from being away from Liam, so it's silly to pay it. but I really miss being in better shape. but, now is not the time to take from Liam. Maybe when he is older. I am only 5 pounds over what I was before he was born, but everything is alot gigglier.
i need to go to sleep. I didn't sleep well last ngiht.

Yesterday I went straight from work to an all you can eat corn boil out on Southland Drive at the Shriner's temple. Jeremy picked up Liam and met me out there. He was running a tad bit late, so I filled up on gas and went shopping some at the CVS next door until he got there. The food was very good. Didn't seem very many Shriners, so I guess their wives were working the food stations?
Then, after that we went and visited Jeremy's Great Uncle Don. his wife recently passed away a few weeks ago, and I could tell that he was very happy to see Liam. Liam did amazing even though he didn't take his afternoon nap and really wanted to nurse.
Then, today we went down to the horse park for their Take Your Hats of Day for the horse industry. That was sorta of bust. there wasn't much to do, and the stuff there was to do (pony rides), the lines were super super long. But, it was free and jeremy and I got to walk around and we did find this random little back paddock with two ponies that Liam got to see up close and personal. I didn't let him touch them because his little finger tips look very much like little pieces of corn and I didn't want there to be any confusion.
Tomorrow, Sam's Club is having an open house, so I think we are going to hit that up. I organized the pantry today, so there should be some room for some stock stuff. I need to finish cleaning up the basement and organizing it.
Oh, we finally got our bed rails delievered, so now our bedroom is complete (well, minus a TV, but that's not urgent).

Every time I say that Liam is getting better, he goes down hill. Three trips to the doctor in 10 days in just horrible. First vomiting, then diarrhea, then a new tooth comes in, then a fever, then a itchy rash, and finally another ear infection.
the past 10 days have SUCKED. my baby is no longer allowed to get sick. Ever!

I laid Liam down to sleep in his crib, and I was singing :goodnight, liam, goodnight Liam, goodnight liam, it's time to say goodnight". He laying there the entire time, looking at his teddy bear in the eyes very affectionately and sleepy, and right when we get to the end of the song, he wakes up and looks the bear very seriously in the eye and says "hi!". it was the cutest thing ever. Like, that was the only word he knows how to say besides dada, so he was saying it to the bear before he went to sleep.
Hi!= goodnight bear, I love you! thanks for being there for me!
so cute.

Poor maybe is a nervous wreak with all these fireworks.
I am off tomorrow, work on Tuesday, then off again on Wednesday. I am glad taht I don't have to work tomorrow. Jeremy is running in his 10k tomorrow, and then hopefully we will go downtown for the festivities if it is not too hot. and if we aren't too tired, we will go downtown tomorrow night for the fireworks. Liam liked the limited amount that he saw tonight, so I hope that we are up to it.
I love Liam. we took a 2 hour nap today. it was AWESOME.

so sleepy. And I sorta have a headache. We went to Ashland today to visit with jeremy's mom. Liam was so cute... of course. He really knows how to work it. Liam got to see his great aunt Patty and Judy and even his uncle John and his greatgrandmother. jeremy's grandmother is really rude and wore us very thin.
We got pictures taken of Liam.
Next weekend is blackacres, and the weekend after that is Chicago. Then I'm hosting Catherine (at work)'s baby shower, then New Orleans. and hopefully lots of comp time to save up for the next BGF (big girl fields) whenever she decides to arrive. If I think it, it will be. Right? waiting sucks, and not knowing what the future will bring. I told Jeremy if the next one is a boy, we have to try for a third and he isn't feeling that.
hey, when do babies get out of cribs and into big boy beds? is it when they can put themselves to bed? like, climb into bed on their own?
I guess my milk drying out was a fake out, because now it's back in full force. I did have oatmeal the other day... maybe that jump started it back.

This summer is going to be very busy. it seems like every weekend we already have booked up. I really want to go and visit our families more, and do memorable things (maybe not for Liam just yet, but memorable for me--- I want to remember going to places like blackacres and holiday world when Liam is so little). i know these things will be even cooler when he is older and can interact with them more.
We are trying hard to be more social and have people over for dinners and stuff.
Liam was a character tonight. Laughing and smiling. And he sucked on my face tonight which he hasn't done in a while:)
My milk is going away. Liam is barely drinking 4 oz at daycare everyday, so i cut back to pumping once at work. And he nurses half heartedly at night/in the morning/when I get home from work. my poops never seem to be "full" anymore. But, he's still drooling and he is having wet diapers every 2 hrs or so, so I guess he isn't dehydrated. i asked the daycare to give him a sippy cup with water in it to play with at lunch. if he wasn't getting enough fluids, i hope I would be able to tell.
Then, I think maybe it's because I'm pregnant and that's just my body's response. But, that doesn't make sense because women can nurse all the way through their pregnancy. I don't know. I've already taken two tests, and they have been negative. I should start my period on saturday, so i guess I will wait until after that to take another one.

funny thing happened while we owned two houses. We didn't have to pay the first months mortgage on the new house. We got our last month's mortgage refunded on the old house. So for all my worries about having two mortgage payments a month, we never actually had to pay two the entire time. the moral of the story is if you bitch about it enough, it doesn't happen.... um, maybe not:)

I love my life right now. Liam is amazing, and cute ALL the time. We have a couch ordered, a bedroom set ordered, and all we need to finish our house is a garden (working on today), some patio furniture and painting the master. And the basement to be finished, but that's more along the lines of a 3 year plan.
We officially don't have two mortgages, and we get a ton of money back in equity. we had to clean the house ysterday for guests to come over and it took less than 2 hours to clean it from top to bottom.
I think Liam will be crawling by this time next month. Still hasn't rolled over more than once, but it's his body, his plan.
We went yard selling in our very busy day yesterday and got him a play thing that he can stand at for $15 . very good deal as it is $45 new.toy

so, the buyers stated that the HVAC system could not be inspected because it was too dirty, so they demanded that we pay for a certified person to come out and clean it and do any repairs. Did I mention that the contract we signed clearly states that buyer will pay for all inspections and they can not request repairs on disclosures (we disclosed that the AC had coolant issues and needed to be charged twice last summer)? So, we hire a company to go out there today and take care of the cleaning, and their report was "both indoor and outdoor coils already clean"
Sunday, May 01, 2011
So, we are having some issues with the contract on the house. The buyers want us to get the AC inspected, as well as fix any/all repairs on it. Even though the contract we signed clearly states that the buyer is responsible for any/all inspections and no repairs can be requested on defects disclosed already as these were accounted for in the negotiated sell price. And it was very clearly stated on our disclosure form that the AC has coolant issues. Talk about wanting their cake and eating it too.
so, if we go by what THEY want and not by the contract that we both signed, we could potentially have over 6 thousand dollars in repairs. what in the world?!??
so frustrated...

I am dreading working these third shifts. The last time I didn't sleep for 4 days straight, I was hysterical and post partum and crazy. and I'm going to miss Liam so much. It's going to be hard on Jeremy too, because Liam is still nursing at least once during the middle of the night and now jeremy will have to get up and make a bottle.

We have a pretty eventful day.
Jeremy's mom was suppose to come into town today to see the house and Liam, but she wasn't feeling well last night so she checked herself into the hospital. Her kidneys are bad, but they don't know why.
Jeremy went running this morning (he was planning on doing 26 miles). At around 6:30 am, I was woken up because of the hail hitting the windows. I ran downstairs, turned on the TV and there were freaking tornados hitting down. I ran back upstairs, got Liam and went out to try and find Jeremy to rescue him. I made it about 2 miles down the road only to find this big metal structure across it that I couldn't pass. I couldn't tell what it was, but Jeremy said he thought it was likely a signal light that fell over.
Needless to say, we went back home with me cycle calling Jeremy trying to get a hold of him. i was terrifed that he was hurt somewhere during the storm.
Around 7:15 jeremy called me back finally... the running group he was with was able to find shelter at an elementary school during the worse of it. He came home after it even though eh only ran 6 miles. In two weeks, he has his ultra marathon down in TN where he si going to run 40 miles.
After he got home, we went out to breakfast with his running friends. I hit my head on this hanging light thing three times.
Then, we went home and hang out and gave Liam his neb treatments and the headed back out to Lexington overstock.com. It was open to the public today (it's not usually... it's a warehouse). And we found a freaking beautiful table with 6 chairs for $650. and we also got Jeremy a new work desk that is amazing too. These two things were actually last on our list of things that we wanted to get, but the prize was too good to pass up. here The table on amazon by itself is $428, so to get 6 chairs for about 200 bucks was amazing.
then i came home, eat lunch, jeremy went abck out to pick up the table (the desk is being shipped in). We he got back, i took a nap.
afterward, i went to the gym, the dollar store, victoria secret and babies r us while Jeremy stayed home with the baby and fed him and put the table/chairs together.
It is freaking beautiful.

I need to be better about posting.
Out fence is up and it looks very pretty. and smells good too. i was frustrated with it being so high off the ground. When we got our building permit, one of the criteria was that it needed to be 3 inches off the ground because of how the houses in the neighborhood are graded and it was designed for rain water to run down the sides of the house and out the back. not that our neighbor has there fence three inches off the ground or anything... anyways, a couple of stops it is more than three inches because of the dips and one stop we had to put blocks because perhaps would totally be able to get out. but it is what it is.
My tummy has been hurting every single morning when I get up. i think it's because i've been taking a calcium supplement more regularly and that means my poop is off.
And speaking of poop, Liam has been pooping 4 or 5 times a day. It's like big person poop, just little pieces of it. oh solid foods...
he's up to rice, oatmeal and barley cereal, green beans, sweet potatoes (his favorite), avacodos, veggie sticks (a natural potato based product), pears and some green peas (once).
we are off today together. I have things to do, but I don't know if they will happen today or not. I need to get a new license, go to the bank and get new checks, go to victoria secret and use a coupon, mow the lawn at the old house, get a water filter for our fridge ( i have to go to sears which is all the way across town)/

Liam is eating more and more food and nursing less and less. It makes me sad:( He used to drink 3 6 oz bottles at day care every day, and now he is down to two. And he only tops off after his dinner and just nurses a small amount before he goes to bed. And last night, he didn't wake up at all to nurse. sniff sniff.
I love nursing him... it is one of my favorite things. he is getting big so quickly.
I think Jeremy and I are going to start trying for another little one. I want them to be close together. jeremy is a little freaked out, but he forgot that pregnancy takes 10 months.
pcitures of the hosue to come sooN!

Have I told you that I love my new house. Because I LOVE my new house.
And, if you didn't read it on facebook, I have lost all of my baby weight. Plus 0.2 pounds to be exact. I love my little fat sucker.
Liam is sitting up by himself. He wasn't last week, and then this week he is. He's still having some tip overs, but he's getting better.
Tomorrow is my half marathon. Hopefully I will do better than I did last year, but I've decided it's very hard to train for something like this with a baby due to the lack of sleep, day care illness that they bring home.
OUr house is so big. there is just all this empty space. our old house needs to sell now so that we can furnish it. we have a huge list of things that we need to buy. it is forever growing and new getting shorter.
We still don't have the fence installed. ***Shakes fist at HOA***. don't get me started on how pissed off I am at them. What a useless body. They don't do ANYTHING to benefit me, yet I have to pay them money every year for them to tell me I can't build a fence until they discuss it on April 11st. they can all rot in hell. seriously. instead of saying yes, build the fence, they have spent hours discussing over email (instead of approving the fence over email), that they have decided to not make decisions over email. even though Jeremy and I would be a huge exception since we moved in the middle of the month with a 6 month baby that we have to leave alone in the house while we walk our dogs.

blah. I wish daylight savings wasn't on a day I work at 7am in the morning. on the plus side, it's like I'm getting off work at 2:30...
Now, i'm in a state where I want to move and get out of this tiny house. I'm still dreading the move and exhaustion. on moving day, I have to work 3-11. that's gonna suck. My first 3-11 is this Tuesday. hopefully it will go okay. and if it doesn't go okay, hopefully I don't kill myself. or other people

I had a pretty good birthday yesterday. We got a take chinese buffet since the drive to frankfort seemed to far and jeremy made me a turtle brownie sundae.
lots of things to do before we move. I think we are going to go look at furniture that we can't buy today. after I take a nap. also need to do a 4 mile run. i need to get on top of this running or I'm not going to be ready for the half marathon.
Liam is so cute. I am still worried though because he hasn't rolled over or pushed himself up. he will be 5 months on Monday and it just worries me. also, his rice cereal hasn't been going well. he hasn't been eating as much and has just been wanting to nurse. which is fine, I'm sure that he will eat when he is ready.
I put him in his swing last night and he grapped onto his little monkey's arm and fell asleep holding onto it. it was really cute. he is able to reach and grap onto things.
we are suppose to close on the house on march 15th, but the other couple doesn't move into their house in Georgetown until the 19th. so, even though we will own the house, they won't be out until that Saturday. I think they will end up paying rent to us for those days. Our realtor said we should charge $100 a day but that seems excessive. it's not their fault that the house they are moving into won't be empty until the 19th. so, we are taking what our mortgage will be and dividing by 30, so they will end up paying us $55 a day. Jeremy is sad because he was hoping that we could move in early, but that's okay. we will be able to use the money that we get from rent to get a new washer and dryer.

Today was day 3 of operation Rice Cereal. Liam was a rock star! He at almost his entire bowl and smiled the entire time during it. I'm pretty sure he was smiling at me and Jeremy and not at the cereal, but we'll take what we can get. Jeremy always makes too much (we make our own using organic rice) and he has found that adding a little brown sugar makes a good breakfast for him.
He hasn't been eating very well at all these past few days because he's been sick but he's alot better today. He's also been sleeping with us every night too because of the above mentioned not feeling well. we try to start him out in the crib, but Jeremy usually sneaks him back to bed with us by midnight. He sleeps alot more soundly in bed with us. his middle of the night feeding isn't as good when he sleeps with us because he nurses better in the nursing chair then lying down next to me.
we close on the house on March 15th. I sorta got really freaked out because I calculated our monthly budget, and it looks like we have about $100 leighway. and then I told Jeremy and he proceeded to freakout because when he figured it out, we would actually be over $500 every month.
Thankfully, we both realized that we were being idiots because we were only counting our income from a biweekly prespective and we actually get paid TWICE every month. I was seriously thinking "what the hell have we gotten ourselves into? how are we going to afford two mortgages? why in the world did they approve us for this loan that we obviously can't afford??????"
it's surreal our income.
So, when we move into the house, the living room, dining room, and master suite will be empty. we don't have enough in savings to furnish them, so when we build up our savings again, we will start putting them together. I think jeremy and I have decided to stay upstairs with Liam in one of the guest rooms until we have enough to buy furniture for the master suite. that way we will be close to him until he is a little older.

well, training for the half marathon has pretty much stopped. I've been sleeping when I get home, which sucks because I can't work out and sucks even more because I can't spend time with Liam. I remember this happenign a few years ago, where I couldn't stay awake after I got home from school because I was so exhausted. that ended, so hopefully this will stop soon as well.
Liam is SOOOO cute. he learns something new every day. His new favorite thing is for me to tap my fingers over his month and he starts "awwwwww"ing and making music. It is so cute. and when he gets bored with that, he licks your hand.
Tonight I was laughing hysterically because he was trying to suckle my neck and when he realized that wasn't working he started to lick me like a cat. very funny.
we are looking at new houses. we have been looking for a while, but finally really buckled down. We have five that we are going to go and actually see this weekend hopefully. they range from 250K to 385K which is a huge range. And from 2500 sq ft to 4500 sq ft. so, maybe before this spring we will be moving!

I missed my work out last night. I went to sleep at 7:20, woke up at 10:20 realized it was really late and went back to bed. Liam got up about 10 minutes later and then again at 2am and 5am when I got up for work. Liam actually went to sleep at 8:45 last night, which is the earliest he has ever gone down for the night. Granted he did get up at 10:30 but went right to sleep after he ate.
My hair is falling out. Ever time I take a shower, I have a big ball of hair that forms after i condition. And it's really starting to show. I have a picture where it looks like i'm in the early stages of chemo. it's horrible.
I've been a debbie downer for the past few days. I had my weigh in on Wednesday, and I was 156. which is up from my low of 154.8. It made me pretty upset. I just want to fit into my old clothes. right now I'm wearing a mixture of maternity clothes and my biggest non-maternity clothes which are still too small and it makes me dread getting dressed for work every day.

I have to work today. I traded in on this Sunday so I can have tomorrow off with Liam. He will only have to go to daycare three days next week since Jeremy if off on Friday for MLK day. Sadly, I have to work on MLK because that's my holiday, but the daycare is open so we don't have to worry about that.
Daycare is not getting any easier. But, on the upside, Liam isn't emotionally scarred. yet. Yesterday was WONDERFUL. He smiled and giggled and nursed and napped all day long. he cried for like 30 secs the entire day, and that was when it was bed time and he was trying to figure out if he really wanted to eat one more time or just go to bed.
He is almost sitting up by himself. I am so proud of him. I know he hasn't reached his goal with belly time and pushing himself up, but he can left his head several inches off the floor and look around, so I'm happy with that. He hates being on his stomach more than a minute or two, and I just don't have the heart to make him do in and cry since I don't know how much he has to cry at daycare everyday.
Liam went 6 days without a bath this week. His skin gets so dry after we give him a bath even with aveeno lotion specially for dry skin.... His feet were pretty stinky when I finally gave him a bath yesterday. And surprisely, his skin wasn't dry at all afterwards. He has some bizarro skin.
Today will be daddy day until I got off work at 3:30
