Tomorrow is goign to be fun. I'm excited.

We are watching two Siamese kittens. They are pretty cute although not as cuddle as I would have liked. I hope that they find good homes. We are only keeping them for about two weeks.

I've had to go into the pharmacy three times today. Blah. THank goodness I'm not on call tomorrow.

I hope everything goes ok tomorrow. There's about 15 people coming. It should be fun. I hope that everyone brings something to eat and drink.

Jeremy should be home pretty soon. I wish that he didn't work nights.

Thursday, July 28, 2005

I wonder if I would have gotten in trouble this morning if I had told a nurse off for being stupid. A nurse at Bluegrass paged thirty minutes before the pharmacy opened to inform me that she didn't have docusate sodium for someome. Extreme pain and death around the corner= emergency. mild constipation= not an emergency.

What the pager service is suppose to be used for= emergencies
what it is actually used for= stupid people who forget to pull labels and fax new orders to us.

sigh.

Fishes and Such

Today, my mommy and daddy came to lexington and we went to Newport aquarium. The day was really nice except for a small mishap with lunch were I ordered a vegetable plate and they forgot the vegetables and they charged 3.50 for a single freaking baked potato. Lame. We got to see sharks and sea horses and pretty colored fishies... it was very nice.

After spendign the day there, we drove back in time to eat dinner with Jeremy's mom and nieces. I ate way too much today. ANd my dad bought us a pound of fudge (I blame jeremy for visibly drooling in front of my parents.)

Oh... I got this reawlly cool pen. it's made out of rosewood and it has my name on it. I NEVER find things with my name on it. I'm totally taking it to work and then taking it away from people when they steal it from me. It has my name on it :)

I'm going to miss the kitties when they go. Zippy will miss them too. I can tell.

Mom brought some more of my stuff that was down in the basement. I'm debate about throwing away all my AP class stuff. there's a ton of it. ANd I don't know if I should throw away all my old YPAS stuff. I wish I knew if my future kids are going to be musicians or not and if they are going to play clarinet. If I knew that, i would keep the stuff, no problem. Maybe we can just stuff it all up in the attic.

Mom also brought the old school Nitendo and Zoey and I spent awhile playing that tongiht. Then she dumped me for swimming at the marriott. Lame, huh? Girl has not skills at old school. But what should i expect... the thing's older than she is. I'm excited about beating Jeremy's tooshie on it.

If anyone has read the last potter book, please contact Jeremy. He's been dying to talk to people about it and I've only gotten to page three or so (everytime I start to read, i get a headache). His screenname is wildcat40508. He's addicted. I'm trying to get treatment for him, but I'll the therapists that I've contacted have also read that book and wish to talk about conspiracy theories instead of how crazy and obsessed Jeremy is.

I've decided to let him run with it... hopefully it will get it out of his system

Good ngiht all... it's been a good day.

Well, it's Saturday night and I'm home alone again and feeling lonely, so here are some pictures for you too look at. I would upload some more but blooger only allows a certain amount of space for images so I'm going to be a bum and not upload them the other way. Good night all.

Jeremy and our Aunt/cousin? Jane
Kyla, our niece
Jeremy stuffing his face in Deytona
My burnt leg from Florida
at the bottom of a lighthouse
the beach
bird's nest in our front yard
Well, we just got a new lawnmower and contacts for me for a year. Nothing like spending a ton of money before lunch time. WE needed another lawn mower though. Jeremy hit a rock the last time he cut the grass and it bent the blade really bad. And he tried to take it off to fix it but he couldn't get the nut undone. ANd the the bolts are busted to attach the engine casing to the frame so that's barely hanging on there.

THe mower that we got seems pretty nice. It has an optional mulching thing you can do. It was the last one at the store so we got it off the display. Jeremy's going to get gas for it in a bit and try it our. The gas we have in the gas can is mixed with oil, so he needs some fresh stuff.

I'm boiling water for some hard boiled eggs. Last night I made some but the water wasn't a "rolling" boil and I found out this morning when i tried to eat one that my 10 min cook time only resulted in soft boiled eggs. ANd that's cut plain nasty.

So, I got another dozen at the store today and I'll take another shot at it.

Monday I have to go to the doctor. They refused to give me more refills on my birth control again without me coming in to get poked and pinched. So, I'm also going to get my hep vaccination while I'm there, if it's cheap. We'll see. I think I've heard somewhere that those hep shots really hurt. And I have to get three within the next year. That stinks.

Mommy, I need two forms of documentation of measles, mumps, and rebella vaccinations after 12 months or older. Please and thanks you.

Wednesday, July 20, 2005

I got my hair cut. Six inches. I was going to take a picture but the batteries died on the digital cameria and they are busy being charged.

In other news, I am planning a texas hold em tournament at my house on the 31st, which is a Sunday. Around three. Buy in is $10. So far there are about 17 people on the list, which is about 3 tables, so if you are interested, please leave a message.

We are going to Honolulu over Spring Break as of around 6:45 pm tonight. Isn't that exciting.

Jeremy brought the orange kitten into work today and showed her off. She was pretty cute.

Mom, Jeremy would like your harry potter book when you get done with it.

updates updates beautiful beautiful updates

Jeremy just called and said that it was pouring down at work and it hasn't even started here yet.

My leg finally peeled from being burnt down in Florida. Talk about a dealyed reaction.

I just heard thunder. Maybe we will have some rain. I wanted to go skating with jeremy when he got home from work but I may have to take a raincheck. Haha.

I've decided that I sit on my butt way too much. I;m off work today and all I've gotten done is watched some Tv and a few loads of clothing.

Sunday, July 17, 2005

I love it when i'm on call and the pager goes off and it's some nurse who left a message that doesn't say at all what she needs or who it's for. Then I have to call over there and convince them that, no, we aren't open on Sundays and we don't make a pm run on days that we aren't open. In fact, we don't make any runs on days that we aren't open. And no, this isn't a new thing. We've been closed Sundays for the past decade.

Of course, they threw away partial bottles of insulin because they could have sworn that we make a pm run on Sundays. Maybe they thought this because they always forget to reorder their bulk meds during the week and we always get called out there to take care of their mistakes.

But then I really love it when the pharmist calls me and says don't worry about it. She'll tske care of it because it's on her way home. Got to love that :)

Our cucumber isn't a cucumber. It's a squash. I could have sworn I planted cucumbers there. Oh well. Jeremy and I cut into it today and tasted it and it was one of those "this isn't cucumber." Who knew?

THe kittens are really cute. the orange one is sleeping on the toliet and the white one is curled up next to perhaps. The white one slept with us last night. It was cute.

I think the orange one may have a cold. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

i'm leaving on a jet plane....

you know, sometimes you forget how shady people are until think about being around them again.
I went to the Bluesgrass fair tonight. Not so much. Good company though, so it's all good. ANd I got fried green tomatoes at Ramsey's tonight, so I was in tummy heaven. I love me some fried green tomatoes.

Huge cucumber in the garden. I'm very excited. And 15 baby tomatoes. :)

We are watching the kittens. I think they may be retarded (some kind of birth defect or something), but they are still pretty sweet. Zippy has stopped with the hissing, so that's good.

Whenever these kittens leave, I think we are going to get another batch to foster care for the humane society.

We got a new vacuum cleaner, but I don't know hwo to use it. It has two one buttons.

Meijer was sold out of Harry Potter books. More will be coming in tomorrow .

I'm suppose to have my one year evaluation pretty soon. I hope that I get a good raise. Other wise I may just say nevermind, take me off the schedule. We'll see.

I want to get my hair cut. short.

My eyes are all ok. The white blood cell clusters are gone, and my stigmatism (sp?) doesn't exist anymore. Ans I opne again have 20/20 vision. I wasn't able to go back into work though to day because they dilated my eyes and I got a really bad headache. Everything less than three feet away was really blurry and you can't force yourself not to look less than three feet away at all times. So, I couldn't go back into work. I came home and took a nap instead and didn't look at anythign.

We got a new vaccuum. Jeremy did research and we found the top ranked one at Walmart for 20 less than normal. So we got that. Jeremy tried it out while I was napping but I couldn't here it at all because it was so quiet.

Jeremy's paretns and the nieces are coming up in a few hours to drop off the kittens before they head to florida. They got a new one for Zoie and anyother one to replace poor Meeko.

I'm drinking a yoohoo. Yum.

where is my husband?

Sunday, July 10, 2005

Well, we got back from vacation ok. Though the last few hours were rough. Jeremy wanted to drive straight through so we cancelled our hotel reservation and drove straight through. But anyway, we made it.

Our garden is florishing, We got a squash yesterday and there are tomatoes coming in. Very exciting. We got the radishes too.

I'm glad that we were home. I was missing the animals a whole lot. Zippy wouldn't leave us alone. He purred for 12 hours straight and we spent like thirty minutes messing with him and wandering from room to room watching him freak out because he thought we were leaving him again. I know, we're horrible.

So, cruise casinos aren't so much fun. AFter the first hour, you want to leave, but really can't. I didn't win $11 this time either. I was all worried about getting sick but thankfully I didn't.

Chris and I have both decided that sucky people suck.

Hello all!

Yesterday and the day before were pretty eventful and uneventful at the same time.

We went down to Greg and Bec's house to drop off the doggies. I had serious guilt about leaving them. I really miss them. I hope that they don't forget about us. Right when we were leaving, we were looking around the fence at different places that the dogs (ala Perhaps) could maybe get out at. And then Greg looks over the fence and sees Perhaps running down the street. So, Jeremy went running down the street after her and I had to chase down Maybe because he let her out when he went after the other dog.

Then, we went to Lowes to get some cinder blocks to put around the spots on the fence with low places. I hope that they are ok and enjoy themselves. I'm forever thankful to Greg for agreeing to watch them. Bec is at a convention for the next few days. I've called a billion times already and we are just now being gone 48 hours.

Oh, when I was bending down to look at the fence, something happened to my back and I could barely walk. And then when we got back to Lexington I slammed my hand in the car door and that hurt like heck.

So I was in extreme pain the entire drive down here. I didn't want to take any medicine for it because I was worried I would fall asleep and I wouldn't be able to check on Jeremy to make sure he wasn't getting sleepy or not. That's another thing.. because of my back, I couln't drive at all because I could work the cutch. I did help jeremy with the stick shift when we were in traffic and he was talking on the phone.

Friday night we ate at this family owned Mexican restuarant that had an entire page on their menu for vegetarian meals. It was super exciting. we decided to go to that place every time we pass through Asheville.

Yesterday we stopped in Saint Augustine to look at some historical stuff but it was raining and we didn't get out and look at much as Jeremy wanted to.

When we finally got to Daytona, we came in and I immediately took a bath in the whirlpool for my back. That helped alot and then we went down to the beach and got in the ocean a bit. We were both really white.

The pool here has a 30 foot slide. I'm trying to figure out if it's just for kids or not. This place is great.

After that, we went to the grocery store and got milk and eggs and icecream. Then we came back and made dinner and watched the MTV live 8 excerpts. We thought that the sirius radio would have a live broadcast, but we could never find it.

Then there were fireworks like 25 yards from our balcony on this pier over the ocean. It was beautiful.

Then we stayed we hit the sack. After we got done with this we are going to go walk on the ocean. Sigh. I need a beach more often.

I'm going on vacaction... I'm going on vacation... I'm going on vacation.

And seriously, I need it.

I sure did wake up at 5 o'clock this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I kept on thinking of things that I don't want to forget to pack. Typically, I would have been packed last week. Alas, my old age is getting to me.

Yesterday was crazy at work and I know for a fact that today will be crazy too. Too bad I'm not going to be there! Yes, I will be on my way to North Carolina to spend the night. Isn't that wonderful. And then at a nice late morning time, we will be heading to Florida. Not so much looking forward to the drive, but I'm certaintly looking forward to the beach. And not having any responsibilities for an entire week.

I'm nervous about leaving the doggies. I hope they behave themselves.
I'm also nervous about leaving Zippy. Even though he doesn't show it to other people, he is a very needy cat. He has to have this mini purr session that he does at least 4 or 5 times a day. At least he will have relief from being jumped on by perhaps.

Oh yeah, Bec... the dogs like to eat their food away from their bowl. It annoys the crap out of jeremy. they've gotten better, but they still make a crum mess in like a three foot radius from their bowl. Sorry.

Ahhh......

I'll update down in Florida if I get a chance. I'm sure that they will have internet.

love everyone!
