Happy Thanksgiving!

I am grateful for my family and friends :)

I haven't really been motivated to update the blog. I don't know, I'm sort of in limbo about what to do next. I guess I'll keep chugging away. Really, I'm a big loser. Not very many people care about my life, so why shouldn't I keep writing on the other site? Who cares about retarded people reading it? sigh.

Last night I went to Marriott to have dinner with Jeremy. It was very good. I found out that Jeremy's parents are going to be Florida for Thanksgiving. And because I picked up the shift at work to change out the carts at the nursing home because I thought dinner was going to be late, now we have nowhere to go. We may eat at the Mansion or something. I don't know yet. Very disappointed.

I finally have a dentist appointment on Dec. 27th. I haven't had my teeth cleaned in forever. I have two sores in my mouth. I wish they would go away.

PCAT scores should be coming any day now.

Whole lot of sleeping today and little else...

Yep, I slept alot. I have a Spanish quiz tomorrow... and I didn't really study for that. I guess I'll get up early tomorrow morning and do that. Today we went to some hot wing place for a farewell dinner for Daniel and Anned, two interns from China that will be leaving this week. It was somewhat awkward because I didn't really know anyone, but I did see a guy from work, so I guess that was cool. The food there really isn't very good, especially for a vegetarian. But Jeremy really enjoyed his wings, I could tell. And he told me about them a million times, so I'm sure he liked them. We left early enough so that we could go get some icecream and bring it back home so Jeremy could watch his Sunday night shows. It's funny how I never really watch TV when it's on, because I can't really remember what the shows were about, but I can also not really get anything accomplished studying-wise. Oh well, I'm passing school, so I guess that's all that matters.

Tomorrow, Jeremy is going to have to hall some tooshie to clean up the house. He is going to be cooking and making a good-bye dinner for the Chinese kids at our house. And our house it trashed, so he has alot to do. I know he's going to miss those kids alot. He talks very highly of them.

I registered for classes last week, but I didn't post anything about it. I'm taking Microeconomics, Spanish II, Biochemistry and some history class that Jeremy wanted me to take because his favorite professor of all time is teaching it. Hopefully, I'll enjoy it. I think I may cut my work load down to only 4 days a week next semester. It's going to be rough otherwise.

UK pharmacy school is having another round of interviews in about 3 weeks. So maybe I'll find out if I got in soon. I still haven't gotten my scores yet from the PCAT. I hope I did a ton better. I'm a little nervous about it because I've heard from some other people that they thought it was a lot easier than last time. But then I've also heard from some folks that they did really bad on it. I guess only time will tell.

I hope tomorrow night isn't awkward too... Time will tell for that too.

I would like laundry detergent and a sports watch for Christmas. Thank you. I would also like my wedding pictures back. Jeremy's mother took them FOREVER ago to put them into photo albums for us and we still haven't gotten them back.

I talked to Jeremy today and told him I didn't want to go to any of his family functions if his sister Faith was going to be there. He said he wasn't going to go to any either if she were there. She's in jail right now. Long story... I'll tell you about it later mom when you come up.

Also, if I opened this blog up to you mom, would you want to post things in it under your name? It could be a group thing. Tell me what you think. I'm thinking about opening it up to the family and other close friends... so you can post anything exciting that's going on in our life, or that you want the family to know. Let me know. Love ya!

I've been thinking about all these things that I wanted to write about, but of course, when I'm sitting here at the computer, I can't really remember them.

While I was at work today, one of the little old women from the Lafayette Apartments and asked for some kleenex. So, I took two boxes up to her. When I got there, I saw that she already had several boxes around her apartment. I felt really bad because I had to leave to get back down to the store and I could tell that she really wanted someone to visit with her. She was just sitting there in her livingroom, no TV, no radio, just sitting there on her chair, doing nothing. I felt really bad. I wonder what it's going to be like when I'm old. I never want Jeremy to die because I never want to be alone with out him.

Anyways....

I've been trying to get together a Christmas list together for Jeremy and me. Jeremy wants a ton of expensive things and I want a bunch of cheap things. I have a feeling I'll be getting alot more this Christmas than he will be.

Here's the plans for Thanksgiving. I have to go to work and change out some med carts at LCP. That should take about 2 hours and I have to go at one. Jeremy doesn't know it yet, but he will be helping me. Afterwards, we will be going to Ashland where his family will be having a late dinner. So, then on Christmas Eve, we will be in Louisville, back to Lexington by midnight to be in our own house on Christmas and then off to Ashland for Christmas day. And then next year it will be a flipflop.

We have a nine foot Christmas tree that Jeremy got at work last year. Mom, if you have any ornaments you want to donate us, we'll be glad to decorate our tree with it.

If you haven't been able to tell, I'm been transferring the posts from the other site over to here. It's long and tiring, but I'm going as fast as I can. It's taking so long because I'm trying to delete "goggable" things so that no one will be able to find the site that I don't want to. I know... the lost and unfindable website is sort of a false hope but I'm still hoping. I wish I didn't care about it so much but I do. So, here we are.

I got a 95% on my microtest. I was superexcited. I ran around the house this morning when I woke up and checked blackboard and saw the score. Hehe... I woke Jeremy up with a happy dance in the middle of the bedroom singing "I got an A!!!!!!! I got an A!!!!!"

One of the guys that Jeremy had drama with a few months ago got fired today for stealing money. Good riddance, if you ask me.

I finished my senior sem paper this morning. It was 22 pages in all its glory. Hopefully, I will get a job grade for it so I don't have to redo it for a second grading. I went into work late because of it, but I made it all up by working my rearend off.

Good news... I get to play alto clarinet on the next concert. It's seriously out of tune, but I enjoy it and that's all that matters.

Have I mentioned lately that I hate cold weather? Because I do. I hate cold weather.

I love how Jeremy and I interact. Sometimes I get to analyzing things and I think that Jeremy and I don't do enough "couple" things. Like, we sit at home. He makes dinner, I do homework, and we watch TV. Pretty boring, huh? But that's what we do about every night. But the things that I don't analyze is how we tickle each other and smile and mess around with each other and flirt and just have a flatout cute time together. I like that we have been married over a year and yet we can still make each other smile with our little inside glances and secrets. heh... warm fuzzy feelings all around for everyone.

Hi mom... you're the first person to first the site. Congratulation.

Top 4 Reasons

Ok, so here's the deal. I will be slowly moving the old site over to this site for a number of reasons.

1. This site has a cooler template. I will be doing some changes to it though somewhat when I get more time.

2. I finally figured out a way to sign Jeremy or Virginia, rather than "Virginia and Jeremy" when we write a post. That way you'll know who's writing, even though in all likelihood it's me.

3. There have been some folks that have been coming to the other site that I'm not completely comfortable with, mostly some folks from school. This site is for me, Jeremy, my family, and my closest friends. I want to be more open with the stuff I write on here instead of being focused on what I'm worried others will read.

And finally,
4. Change is good, right?

So, I hope you enjoy. If I pass along access to this site to you, be a dear and don't tell anyone about it. I'll let the people I want to see it do so very shortly.
