Man,
I am spread thin this week.  Lots of things to do, not enough time. Forced myself to be focused on the boys as soon as I got home until bath time, and feel much better about my dad.  Must. engage. children. even when I have a millon things to do.

I'm really excited about cubscouts.  I'm a little sad that Jeremy and I have such leadership roles it feels like we can't be there with the boys during the meetings, because we are running around doing things.

Some lady asked to volunteer and help out, so Jeremy asked her to do a really simple task via email and she didn't reply. Then we saw her at the Y the day before the meeting and she was like "oh, yeah, I need to reply to that email.  I should be able to do that." and then she didn't bother to show up to the meeting, and this meeting when she did show up, she hadn't done the thing. Bitch, why did you say you could help out and give your email address if you had no intention of helping out. And literally, it would have been 20 minutes of work tops.  And she said that she didn't come to the meeting the time before because she forgot because it was Columbus Day. what. the. hell. What does that even mean?

She was promptly deleted from the list of adult volunteers.
