So, there are three dead trees behind our house, in our neighbor's yard. and last week, this huge branch fell from it and busted up the fence in our garden a little bit. And last night jeremy and I were out in the yard playing with the dogs and we started talking about if we needed to call the city to find out if we can legally make the neighbors cut down the trees since they were dead and they could potentially fall on our house.
Then.....
this morning, I woke up to the sound of saws and the trees were gone! How freaky. Sadly, our privacy is even more compromised. I hate that the neighbor's patio is all up in our backyard. Maybe they will plant more, live! trees.

Or it could be they realized when their limb fell that if it had hit your house they would be libel and so as soon as they could get someone over they got the trees down. It took them so long to get someone because of the storms and they didn't want to do it themselves because they didn't know how to without causing them to fall in your yard.
